Part 4: Villanelle

Part 4

Villanelle POV:

It was horrible last night. My nose was all stuffy and I was freezing. I hate winter so much. It would be better if someone (Eve) was there to cuddle me and keep me warm.

I woke up all curled up and my hair was a mess. I looked over at my clock and saw it was 9AM. I slowly got out of bed and brushed my teeth. Soon after I put on some old jogging bottoms and a baggy hoodie because I didn't feel like doing much today. I put my hair up in a messy bun and then walked towards the door and left.

I walked to the cafe that I visit quite daily. The air was frosty and I could see my own breath. On my way I almost slipped over on a big icy puddle. Again. I HATE winter. Apart from Christmas! Though I never really had a Christmas...

The cafe is a good 20 minute walk from my place so sometimes I stop to sit down and take a rest as I haven't been getting out much since I've had no reason to unless I'm going to go shopping or go get a nice hot chocolate from the cafe.

I could finally see the cafe just across the park. There were already kids playing in the park. I was so confused on how they were fine with being up at 9:15AM and playing in the freezing cold! But I guess playing tag would keep you warm.
