Alastor woke up next to his lover, smiling brightly. Since his relationship with Angel Dust had progressed more and more, Alastor had found himself more and more comfortable with things. He found that he loved cuddling up to Angel and falling asleep as they held each other, he found that he also was starting to get more and more comfortable with Angel displaying affection towards him in public, and he found himself...so much happier than he could ever remember being. Angel Dust made him happy, and with the spider in his life, Alastor felt as close to heaven as he thought he'd ever get.
The deer rested his head on his folded arms, deciding to not get up just yet and enjoy the peacefulness of the morning before he had to start his day. He let out a dreamy sigh, allowing himself to just be a man in love, admiring his boyfriend's beautiful face. Skies above, he could stare at that face for hours, hear that laugh for days, and when he smiled- oh stars, Angel's smile made Alastor feel alive again.
A slight oink alerted Alastor that Fat Nuggets had hopped up onto the bed, and had trotted in between them, nuzzling into Alastor's side. The deer's relationship with the pig had gotten incredibly friendly since he'd started dating Angel Dust. Frankly, Alastor had started to rather enjoy the pig's company, even petting the pig's head and feeding him treats. For a man who'd never owned a pet in his life, Angel seemed to think that Alastor was getting along with Fat Nuggets just fine. Looking at the pig snuggling his side, Alastor grinned and gently pet his head, chuckling at how the pig almost seemed to smile up at him when he felt the contact of his hand.
"I thought starrin' was rude, Smiles~" Came the voice that lit up Alastor's life. Angel Dust had woken up, and was giving him a soft smile.
"Oh, I'm sure we can make an exception when its a stare of admiration~" Alastor spoke just a little above a whisper and layer next to the spider, putting Fat Nuggets on top of his chest so the pig could keep napping.
"Admiration, huh~?" Angel Dust rolled onto his stomach and propped himself up on his elbows, gazing down at Alastor with the most loving of smiles.
The truth was Angel Dust felt the exact way for Alastor as the deer did for him. Alastor had brought something into his life that Angel had never had before, someone who truly loved him for who he was, and not for his body. This smelly old deer had opened a door for Angel that he never could have imagined would feel so amazing. Alastor had freed Angel from the torture he had been in before with Valentino, and given him a new meaning to his life. For that he would always love him.
"Angel darling, you are the most beautiful creature I've ever seen. I can't help but stare when I see you asleep, so peaceful and relaxed. You're truly the closest thing a human could ever be to an angel, and sometimes I swear you are one." Alastor leaned up and pressed a kiss to Angel's cheek, chortling when the spider blushed a deep red. He still wasn't used to someone talk to him in such a heartfelt way, especially Alastor of all people.
"S-Smiles, you really are a hopeless romantic." Angel Dust held his hands up over his face to hide the blush, but that didn't change the fact that Alastor had still seen it on his cheeks.
"Don't hide from me, my dear~" Keeping one hand cradling the pig on his chest, Alastor reached a hand up and gently pulled one of the spider's hands away from his face, glad to see him smiling under it, "I love seeing those beautiful eyes of yours~"
"A-Al stop-" Angel blushed deeper and giggled.
"Now why would I do that?" Alastor chuckled, "I could never hope to deserve your grace, so I have to make sure you know how much I love you every day~"
"I never woulda thought you were such a sap when we first met."
"I wouldn't have either. It seems you know how to bring out parts of people they never even knew they had."
"What would I do without ya, Bambi~?" Angel Dust leaned down and placed a kiss right on Alastor's mouth, one that was soft and gentle. The kiss made Alastor's cheeks flare up with heat as he kissed back, his heart beating a mile a minute.
"Gotcha~" Angel chuckled when he got a look at Alastor's face.
"That was a cheap shot."
"Oh, and sweet talkin' me ain't~"
"Touché." Alastor chuckled and sat up, still cradling Fat Nuggets to his chest.
"Gettin' up so soon, babe?"
"We have responsibilities, remember?" Alastor gave the spider an eye roll at the last word he spoke.
"Man, sometimes I hate being responsible." Angel laughed and sat up, stretching out his four arms over his head and letting out a relieved sigh, "Much better."
Alastor thought it over for a moment, allowing himself one of his rare, brief moments to consider something he doesn't normally consider, "Well then...perhaps just a few more minutes wouldn't hurt." The deer muttered as he laid back down.
"What was that-" Angel started, before a set of arms wrapped around his middle and pulled him back down onto the bed. Angel then found Alastor nuzzling into his neck, letting himself indulge in a moment of pure affection as the side of him that craved to be touched placed a few kisses along the spider's jawline.
"Al- hey!" Angel started giggling, though he didn't seem to mind the affectionate attack at all. He managed to get his arms around Alastor and pull him close, holding him as he gave him another kiss, this time staying in the kiss longer.
It had the exact effect Angel had been looking for, making Alastor's entire face go tomato red under such a passionate display, though that didn't stop him fro missing back. Angel Dust let one of his hands run through Alastor's hair, delighting in how soft it was under his fingertips. Alastor was to flustered to do much more than keep his arms wrapped around Angel, but that didn't stop him from showing his appreciation for the spider's affections by moving one of his hands to grab one of Angel's free ones, giving it a gentle squeeze. The two stayed like that for a little while, even after the kiss had been broken.
Yeah...a few more minutes wouldn't hurt.
