Molly was finding that her current company was definitely more than a little strange. He had a mouth worse than any she'd heard before, yet something about him was actually kind of nice to be around. Perhaps his lack of caring about how he came off to people was the refreshing part, or the fact that she'd now had three drinks, and he hadn't made a single move on her.
"Okay, I gotta know, are you gay?" Molly asked, "Usually any guy I'm drunk around tries to grope me."
"Sweetheart, I like guy, girl, thems, and all the others." Blitzo said with a shrug, "But I'm currently in some sort of relationship with a tall, incredibly sexy bird man who is more than happy to let me fuck him if we're both in the mood."
"You have to be the most unhinged imp I've ever met."
"I take that as a fucking compliment." Blitzo finished off his current drink, turning to look at Molly, "So, why were you sitting on a curb looking like your boyfriend dumped you on your anniversary or some corny ass shit like that?"
"It's...a long story." Molly mumbled, folding her arms on the bar and resting her head on them.
"Well, we've got time." Blitzo said with a shrug, "Look, I ain't a little emotional bitch, if you don't wanna talk, I won't make you. All I'm saying is, you look like you could use someone to bitch about shit too."
Molly thought about Blitzo's words, then let out a long sigh, "I'm thinking about patching up my shitty relationship with my brother."
Blitzo flinched, memories of his last encounter with his sister coming back to him, "Oh...what happened?"
"He did something stupid, and I couldn't take it anymore...so I told him to leave." Molly's voice had gotten quiet, and she refused to look at the imp next to her, "That's all I'm saying about what happened. I haven't talked to him since."
"Do you really want him back in your life?" Blitzo asked, staring down at his empty glass with a somber look.
"I do..."
"Then make sure you tell him you're sorry."
"What?"
"Just...look, I have a little experience with shitty relationships with siblings. If you really want him back in your life, make sure you apologize for turning your back on him." Blitzo didn't sound nearly as lively as he did before, and something about that made Molly feel almost sad at whatever it was currently hanging over him, "If you don't let him know you're sorry for whatever you did, you have no chance of getting him back in your life."
The hand Molly suddenly placed on Blitzo's shoulder made the imp flinch, and her words caught him off guard, "You didn't apologize, did you?"
"...no...but I wish I did. Even if she still didn't forgive me, I at least wish I'd apologized when I had the chance."
"What if he doesn't want me around?" Molly asked, turning as Blitzo finally looked her in the eye.
"Then you respect his decision and move on. That's all you can do."
"You know, you're kinda nice for an asshole." Molly said with a smirk, making Blitzo roll his eyes.
"Don't push your luck hoe, I literally kill people for a living."
"Oooo~ sounds fun. You'll have to tell me about that sometime."
"...what-"
Molly grinned, handing her phone over to Blitzo, "Look, we don't have to be friends, but if you're ever in town and need someone to drink and vent to, I'm game."
Blitzo thought it over for a minute, then took the phone, typing in his number, "There, happy now?"
"Blitzo?" Molly said with a raised eyebrow, "That's a name I haven't seen before."
"The O is silent." Blitzo groaned as he handed over his own phone, "Now give me your damn number."
Molly chuckled, putting her number in, "There you go Blitzo."
"Molly?" Blitzo said, looking down at his phone, "Like the drug?"
"Exactly." Molly smiled, standing up, paying for her drinks, "Thanks for the talk. If things go well, I might introduce you to this brother of mine. You two would get along great."
Blitzo couldn't help but give a snarky laugh, "That sounds like a pretty friend kind of thing to do, spider hooker."
"Hey," Molly flipped the imp off, but she was chuckling, "I'm a stripper, not a hooker."
"Oh, I'm sorry." Blitzo said with a mock apologetic tone, "Spider stripper has a better ring to it, anyways."
"Oh fuck off you red twink." Molly called over her shoulder as she walked out of the dingy bar Blitzo had brought her too.
"Go suck a cock!" Blitzo called back, flipping her off as she left, though he was smiling, realizing perhaps he'd just made a friend.
Molly left, feeling as if a heavy weight had been lifted off of her shoulders. Blitzo had been right, that bar had some great booze, maybe that was why she felt so much lighter. Of course, it may have been the conversation that had happened between them. Either way, she wouldn't mind hanging out with the imp again, he was actually pretty nice to be around.
And she really did think he and her brother would get along great...
