II: Promise

Nayeon and Y/n went to the park to watch the group perform. After the band finished performing, Yeri, one of the members of the group approached Nayeon and Y/n

"A lot of people watched, You're really gonna be famous someday" Nayeon said

"Says from the one who's already popular even if she's not a celebrity yet" Yeri laughs then looks at Y/n

"This is Yeri, my childhood friend. Y/n meet Yeri, Yeri meet Y/n"

"Hey girl!" Yeri smiled and hugged Y/n

"Hi, by the way, you were great at the stage earlier" Y/n said

"Oh thank you, my band has been receiving the love we deserved for the past years. We couldn't be more grateful, come watch us every Friday" Yeri said

"Of course"

"Then I'm gonna leave you two love birds" Yeri smirks and left them

"Don't listen to her, she always say ridiculous things" Nayeon awkwardly said

"Uhm.. what do you want to do?" Nayeon asked

"You suggest" Y/n said

"Why don't we have a picnic here?"

"But we didn't bring anything but ourselves..." Y/n said

"Wait here, I'll be back.." Nayeon stood up

"Are you gonna leave me here all alone?" Y/n asked

"Of course, not! I'm just gonna be right back real quick. Once I'm back, we're gonna have our picnic here"

"Promise?"

"Promise, stay here" Nayeon smiled

Nayeon left the park and she rushed to the convenience store. She took chips and two orange juice. She then stopped when she realized she knows nothing about Y/n, she doesn't know what her favorite food is

"I don't wanna ruin this chance to be close to her, I have to do a great job on choosing what to buy" Nayeon mutters and continued to pick the foods then goes to the counter

The cashier starts the scan the food Nayeon bought while she wait for it

"That'll be 31,000" the cashier said making Nayeon gulp

'I brought that much? I haven't even paid for the rent and I'm two months late' Nayeon thought

She took her wallet and opened it, she took all her remaining cash and paid for it and gets the paper bag

"It's alright, it's for Y/n" Nayeon said

Nayeon went back to the park seeing Y/n waiting for her, she sees her holding a waffle sandwich

"I'm back" Nayeon said

"I hope you don't mind me buying this, I brought you one too. It's tuna flavored, one of the best" Y/n smiled and handed it to Nayeon

She sits down the bench and starts to unpack the foods she brough, Y/n sees that she brought mostly junk foods and her mother restricted her from eating foods like this. Nayeon saw that she didn't look happy

"You don't like it?" Nayeon asked

"No" Y/n shook her head

"I'll take the kimbap" Y/n took it and unwrapped the wrapper
