XV: Let Go

Y/n and Mina are in Japan, they decided to grill a barbecue in the backyard, they just finished and tasted it. Mina's eyes sparkled after tasting that it's delicious

"A successful cook by me!" Mina proudly smiled

"It taste good, chef" Y/n chuckles

"By the way, I have something for you" Y/n took something from her bag

Y/n gives Mina a small box, she opens it and it's a fountain pen with their names carved on the pen

"Y/n heart Mina?" Mina looks at Y/n

"Y/n loves Mina. I brought this when me and Sana went shopping, do you like it?" Y/n asked

"I love it, thank you" Mina smiled

"Let's take a selfie" Mina took her phone

They posed for the camera, as Y/n heard the click from capturing the picture. Something flashes into her mind as well, she thought of that girl again. They had a picture too but they're with a dog

"Kookeu.." Y/n mutters

"Koo.. Kookeu?" Mina confusingly looks at her

"That's right, I have a dog. Where is he now?" Y/n asked

"Uhm.."

"Kookeu, I just remembered him now. Oh my god, where did he go?"

"Hey, it's okay. We'll find for your dog" Mina said

"He's not dead, right?" Y/n asked

Meanwhile …

"I knew I'd find you here, Y/n says you always drink at this bar" Sana sat beside Nayeon but she ignores Sana

"Did you just ignore me? Well, That's a normal thing to happen because I was a shitty friend to you" Sana laughs

"I've always looked out more for Y/n that I forgot that you were also my friend, if she's hurt.. so do you. I'm sorry, Nayeon. I won't expect you to forgive me but I hope you'll move on and have a start over again just like what Y/n's doing" Sana said

Nayeon is still not talking to her

"Did you remember how we became friends? We dated the same girl, after we found out that we have a lot of things in common.. we became friends" Sana said that made Nayeon smile a little because she remembered it

"You're more of a player than me" Nayeon said

"I never said it but I thought you're the coolest. You're independent and did everything to reach your dreams, you moved to the city just to follow your dreams even if it meant being away from your family. I have always adored how motivated and determined you are.. you were also full of happiness"

"But I can't see it anymore.." Sana added

"You were right, Sana. You told me that I should've stayed as Y/n's fangirl then our lives would've been perfect and we wouldn't be in so much pain. I might've become a successful actress" Nayeon said

"But I was also wrong that time, I didn't trust you that you'll love Y/n because you did. You loved her more than anything, more than you loved yourself. You've been with her through thick and thin, you made her feel love that she didn't felt because of her divorced parents''

"But look what I did to her, I ruined her life" Nayeon starts to cry, Sana puts her arms on her shoulder

"That's just life, love is not always happy.. it also comes with pain" Sana said

"I want you to be happy, Nayeon. It's not yet too late, who knows? You might be able to become an actress now"
