XIV: Deserve

Nayeon is in her apartment thinking what Y/n said to her earlier

"Should I stop when this is the only thing that I can do for you now?" Nayeon said while staring at Y/n's picture in her wallet

"I don't want to let go, I love you so much. Please remember me again, Y/n and I promise that I will change everything that's wrong with me"

"Just please go back to me and I'll listen to you now, I won't let pride take over me.. just please be in my arms again"

Next day …

Nayeon looks around her messy apartment, she's such an unkempt person and that's one of the reasons why Y/n and her would fight all the time. Y/n is extremely tidy while Nayeon is the opposite and that had been a huge deal to the two and it sometimes causes agreements between them

Flashback …

Y/n is vacuuming the carpet when she sees the empty boxes of package deliveries and empty beer cans. She glanced at Nayeon's who's playing video games at the tv

"Didn't those deliveries arrive yesterday? Why did you still not throw those away?" Y/n asked to be ignored

She walks to Nayeon

"Yah, will you stop that game for a second and listen to me?"

"Let's talk later" Nayeon said focusing her eyes on the tv

Y/n sighs looking at Nayeon then someone calls her phone

"Y/n, there's an emergency. Jinkyu is sick and we don't have a tourist guide for the Chinese tourists. You need to come now because you're the only one who has knowledge in museums here in Korea" Her boss said

"Does that mean I'll be away for a few days?" Y/n asked

"Yes, I'll just add more to your salary. You should come to the hotel now because the tourists' plane will land later" He said and ended the call

"There's an emergency in my work, you better throw those away. I don't want to comeback seeing them still there, understand?" Y/n said

"Yeah, yeah" Nayeon nods

Four days later …

Y/n just got home and she sees that the packages and empty beer cans are still there, she's tired after the four days of nonstop talking and touring the tourists and the messiness is not helping her

She passed by the kitchen seeing the unwashed dishes, she went upstairs and went inside the room seeing more mess. Nayeon's used clothes are just either lying on the floor or hanging to wherever it can hang on

"Nayeon!" Y/n called her, she went out of the room, Nayeon just left the bathroom and talking to someone

"And I tell you to just give the job to me, I'm tight-"

"Why do you have high standards?! It's just a fucking pizza delivery, what the hell are you saying that I don't fit the criteria?!" Nayeon furiously asked

"Fine! I wouldn't disturb you anymore, you could've just told me you don't want me to work there instead of saying nonsense. As if the job offer is worth something" Nayeon said and hangs up in annoyance, She sees Y/n in front of her

"You went home, I missed you-" Nayeon's gonna hug her but Y/n pushed her arms away

"Didn't I tell you to throw those boxes away? Why is the house a mess?" Y/n asked

"Sorry.. I got a little busy"

"Busy with what? It's just four days, Nayeon. How did this small house turn into a jungle?"
