IX: Fate

"The person that I've been missing… it's you, right?" Y/n asked but Mina only looked at her unable to say anything

Then they heard a loud crowd, they saw people going to the stall. They read the banner saying it's a beer drinking contest

"Let's go check it" Y/n dragged Mina to the stall and saw three people seating while glass jug of beer are placed at the table

"Just one more contestant and we'll start the contest!" The announcer said

"Should we join?" Y/n asked

"I don't drink alcohol" Mina said

"Then I'll join"

"Wait-" Mina didn't got to do anything when Y/n goes to the front

"I'll participate" Y/n said

"Are you sure, miss? I don't think you can take many alcohol in your body" He joked

"Let's see"

"Alright then, let's give it up for.."

"Y/n"

"Our last contestant, Y/n!"

"Oh god.. what do I do?" Mina mutters

A little later …

Two out of the four contestants already got knocked out, just Y/n and a muscular guy left. Everyone is in shocked knowing Y/n is good at drinking and everyone watching is cheering for her, Mina didn't expected it too

It's the tenth round and the muscular guy slowly dropped his head to the table, everyone shouted knowing Y/n won. While she confidently raised her arms as she smiled, Mina couldn't help but smile too. Even if a lot of people are around them, it felt like it's just the two of them staring at each other like it's their own world

Some time …

They're walking to the park, Mina is holding the 10 pounds of Wagyu beef that Y/n won from the beer drinking contest. She's watching Y/n walking in front of her and obviously drunk, Mina still smiling but then she thought of what Y/n told her earlier

"The person that I've been missing… it's you, right?"

Mina only knew one thing, Y/n has a lover and she misses her lover even though she have forgotten about her

"Hey Mina" Y/n turned around and faced her

"Hmm?"

"Was I great there?" drunk Y/n asked

"You're drunk now" Mina said

"But I didn't pass out, that's why I won the contest!" Y/n laughs

"Let's just reschedule our date tomorrow, we can't go out if you're drunk. Do you remember where you live?" Mina asked

"No" Y/n shook her head

"Let's just sleep here-" Y/n's gonna lie down the ground but Mina stopped her by holding her hand

"We can't sleep here" Mina chuckles

Next day …

Jihyo and Momo helped Nayeon pack up the stuff in the house, she's moving. Jihyo suggested it so Nayeon could have a fresh new start just like Y/n. Nayeon opens the drawer and sees a brown envelope, she took it opens it

It's their divorce paper, both sides signed it. Nayeon wasn't able to stop herself from not crying

Flashback …

After Nayeon saw Y/n with the doctor, she left the hospital but saw Y/n's mother. They faced each other outside of the hospital building

"How dare you show your face after what you have done to my daughter?" Mrs Song said
