Some LoZ Oneshots

(I think I've gotten caught up on requests now :D this one is from @CaptianGoodKnight !)

(Request: Yunobo x Female!Reader, starting relationship. I sorta wasn't sure how to write this sorry 😅)

The lake in front of the pair bubbled, heat waves rising into the air before fading away. It was quiet besides the sound of the mountain life and the lava, and that was perfectly fine. Silence wasn't unpleasant in that moment, thoughts churning like butter within the two's mind.

Y/N was the first to speak, her voice strangely quiet. "This is nice. Thanks for bringing me here."

The Goron looked at her, giving a big smile and nodded. He looked back to the lake before responding. "It's one of my favorite spots. I'm glad you like it." She nodded in response, craning her neck slightly to look up at him. For a moment, they stayed like that. Yunobo looking into the lava and Y/N looking at him. 

Eventually his cheeks flushed from something other than heat, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "Is there something on my face?" He asked, tilting his head. Flustered, the young woman looked away, face and neck going cherry red. 

"You...have a nice face."

The Goron blinked, surprised. He was silent for a moment before smiling, delicately placing a hand on Y/N's shoulder. "You have a nice face too." She kept her eyes on the lake but a soft smile was visible on her face, as well as the happy sparkle in her eyes. 

"So we'd look nice together, eh?" She elbowed the larger's side, which probably was like a poke to him. Yunobo laughed a little, his cheeks getting more flushed. It wasn't clear what color Gorons blushed but it was easy to tell when they were. The little nod that Y/N noticed made her heart soar.

And again, the two fell silent. The lake before them applauded the bond it was witness to, bubbling proudly  when Y/N rested her head on the Goron's arm, too short to reach his shoulder.
