As I settled into my workspace, I noticed Sherges approaching with a single rose in his hand. I couldn't deny his charm and the way he carried himself with such poise. He exchanged warm greetings with Phyna, a friendly smile gracing his lips before making his way into the office. Our eyes met, and a familiar, charming smile spread across his face.

Extending his hand, he offered me a bouquet of roses, their vibrant hues and enchanting fragrance filling the air between us. "Good morning to the prettiest woman in the whole world," he said, his voice soft and sincere.

I returned his smile and accepted the flowers with a quiet "Thank you." As I studied the roses and then glanced back at Sherges, I noticed his gaze remained fixed on me, an unspoken thought lingering behind his eyes.

"Do you always drink honey?" he asked suddenly, breaking the silence between us. Intrigued by the unusual question, I couldn't help but wonder what new topic of conversation he might introduce this time.

"I have a penchant for honey, yes," I replied, curiosity piquing my interest. "Why do you ask?"

A playful grin tugged at the corners of Sherges' mouth as he leaned in closer, his voice lowering to a conspiratorial whisper. "What I mean is, your voice is always so soft and charming, much like the sweetness of honey."

Despite my best efforts to remain composed, I felt a small spark ignite within me at his words. Still, I shrugged nonchalantly, attempting to conceal the effect his remarks had on me as I turned to walk toward my desk.

However, before I could take more than a few steps, I felt his grip on my arm, pulling me back and spinning me around to face him. I found myself pressed against his firm chest, my heart pounding fiercely in response to the sudden proximity.

This was undeniably crossing a boundary, and yet, I found my voice had abandoned me, replaced by an inexplicable magnetic pull between us.

"You are beautiful," he whispered, his gaze locked onto mine with an intensity that seemed to render me powerless. In that moment, it felt as though he were casting a spell over me, drawing me deeper into the enigmatic connection that had been building between us since the day we met.

As we stood there, frozen in time, the line between our professional and personal lives began to blur, giving way to the possibility of something neither of us had anticipated.

My resolve faltered as Sherges whispered once more, his voice laced with a vulnerability that caught me off guard as I was about to move. "Please don't. Not now."

Every fiber of my being seemed to be attuned to him, from the sound of our pounding hearts to the depth of emotion in his captivating eyes. I could feel my knees weakening beneath me, and I hated how my body was betraying my intentions to put a stop to this.
