        Bella's POV

After waiting a while for Sherges to return with some food, I grew a bit impatient. He had left his room key with me, so I decided to venture over to his room.

Upon entering, I was immediately struck by how immaculately tidy the space was. Everything seemed to be in its proper place, and I couldn't help but smile. "Wow," I thought to myself, impressed by his organization. "I wonder what his room at home looks like."

Taking a seat on a small couch, I decided to pass the time by going online. I found several messages waiting for me—from my dad and Lucy, checking in on how I was doing, as well as from my office colleagues Phyna and Mrs. Lizzie, making sure that we had arrived safely.

Just as I finished catching up on my messages, Sherges finally returned. I helped him dish out the food he had brought, and we sat down to eat together.

As we ate, an awkward silence hung in the air between us. The only sounds were the clinking of spoons against plates. We had briefly discussed the strange encounter with that girl earlier in the day, but after that, the conversation had dwindled.

I wondered if he was thinking about what had transpired between us the previous night. The atmosphere felt tense, and I couldn't help but question whether our intimate moment had meant anything to him at all.

Suddenly, he cleared his throat and turned to face me. "Are you still thinking about what happened earlier?" His words caused a spark of surprise in me—until he continued, "Don't worry, Princess, that girl can't harm you."

My breath escaped in a relieved sigh as I realized he was referring to the incident from earlier. "I mean, she's no match for you, in any way," he added, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth.

I couldn't suppress the smile that tugged at my lips. "You mean that?" I asked, low-key hoping for more words of praise. One thing was for sure—he knew just how to make me smile.

"Of course I do," he replied quickly, his voice reassuring. He shifted closer to me, and our eyes locked. Once again, I found myself spellbound by his magnetic presence. "No one can ever match up to you, Bella. You've got everything they lack," he whispered softly.

"What do I have?" I asked, genuinely curious to hear his perspective on my qualities.
"You have the smartest brain, and you're so hardworking," he began, his gaze drifting to my lips. "The prettiest face, and a well-structured body." His breath tickled my skin, and I swallowed nervously.

With those seductive eyes, I felt my world was ready to bow to his every whim at any moment.

"You have..." He leaned in, gently pressing a soft kiss to my lips. The sensation left me floating in a blissful haze. "The most delicious, plump lips," he continued, pulling away just enough to speak. "And..."

But I couldn't wait any longer. I silenced him with my mouth, giving in to the irresistible desire that had been building between us.

His kiss was pure magic, a slow and passionate embrace that left me weak in the knees. Soft moans escaped my lips as I gripped his head tightly, as if afraid he might slip away from me.

When we finally broke apart, our eyes locked. "I love you," he declared, his voice filled with a sincerity that silenced the world around us—all except for the thundering of our hearts.

The doubt that had lingered within me merged with his sincerity, and in that moment, I knew without a doubt that he was being genuine. There were no games, no ulterior motives. And what's more, I realized that I felt the same way.
I swallowed hard, preparing myself for the question that I desperately needed answered. Bracing myself, I hoped he wouldn't be put off by my inquiry—I needed to know the truth before I could determine my next words.
