The moment Bella entered the room, it felt as though time stood still, the rest of the world fading away until only the two of us remained.

With just one glance in her direction, I could feel the resurgence of the bad boy persona I had promised to keep buried—at least until our two-month partnership agreement was signed. And yet, not even a day had passed before it reared its head once more. Damn.

Her eyes sparkled with a brilliance akin to the morning sunrise, and I found myself at a loss for words, my gaze locked on her face. Despite my usual smooth-talking charm, I was utterly captivated by her presence.

Ordinarily, I was accustomed to catching the attention of countless women as I passed by, their longing gazes betraying their desire for me. It was all too easy to lure them in with suave pet names—pretty, sweetheart, gorgeous, honey—and my magnetic smile was often enough to entice them away from their duties.

A single wink was all it took for them to end up in my bed, breathlessly calling out my name.
But as I stood there, witnessing Bella's unique beauty and hearing her angelic voice, I experienced something unfamiliar—a genuine heartbeat.

Although I couldn't fully trust my own emotions, this moment felt undeniably real. I attempted to make her laugh with my usual flirtatious banter, but she was different. Unlike the other women who would giggle and blush, Bella remained composed, her intelligence, hard work, and focus setting her apart.

As much as I was drawn to her, I recognized that Bella was a force to be reckoned with—a woman who deserved my respect and admiration, rather than a simple conquest.

Sensing an opportunity to learn more about the enigmatic Bella, I engaged Phyna in conversation. It was apparent that Bella's world revolved around business, and I was curious to discover if there was more to her than her professional demeanor.

"Too bad I have a boyfriend already, cutie," Phyna remarked with a hint of sarcasm, her voice tinged with a playful giggle. "I would have loved to see what you've got in there—and I'm not talking about your abs."

Under any other circumstances, I would have taken her up on that challenge, as I never shied away from pursuing women regardless of their relationship status. My charisma and charm had always been more than enough to sway them.

But having met Bella, I felt compelled to maintain a sense of professionalism—a novel concept for me.
"You're quite the naughty sweetheart, aren't you?" I teased, causing Phyna to blush in response.

"And you're such a sweet guy," she countered. "Where did you come from?"

I disclosed my background, but Phyna didn't seem to grasp my answer.
What do you mean then?"  I forced a smile.
