I walk up to the astronomy tower and look around. I don't even know why I decided to show up.

"Y/n?"

I jump slightly. "Hi Draco."

"Do you like your bracelet?"

"It's yours? But my biological aunt gave this to me in a box..."

"Yeah, uhm s I don't know how to tell you, and I don't know why the teacher didn't tell you, but your uhm, dad is my uncle?"

"WE'RE COUSINS?"

"Uh, yeah..."

"Wait, who's my dad? Is he alive? If he is alive then do u know him, are you close?"

"Let's start with one of those, your dad is alive, but I don't know him an we're not close. The only thing I know about him is his name."

"And his name is...?"

"Sirius Black."

"Wait what?"

"My mom's maiden name is Black, and Sirius is her brother."

"Have you known this entire time?"

"No, I only found out when word got out that he escaped, my parents decided to tell me for safety reasons."

"Oh."

"Yeah, anyway, I was wondering if we could restart, I'll be nicer to Hermione, and I'll try being nicer to Harry, it's obvious you like him."

"Is it really?" I say blushing.

"Yes, to everyone except him! But it's pretty obvious he likes you too."

"Draco, what about my mom?"

"My mom told me her name was Marlene, and I heard she's in the quidditch hall of fame downstairs. Anyway, my mom said she passed, when Voldemort attacked Harry's parents. That is the reason you have the similar scars. And your dad was blamed for the murder of all of them."

Everything makes since now... I don't have a mom because she wwas murdered, I don't have a dad because he was accused of the murder and I got the scar because I was at the house when the attack happened!

My eyes start to well with tears. Draco awkwardly pats me on the back as I start crying.

"I hate that you're going through this, but I know that you've got this."

I give Draco a hug and hear a shriek from the stairs. I while my eyes and see Pansy staring at us.

"Draco! How dare you cheat on me!"

"Cheat on you? We're not even dating. Plus I'm just trying to comfort a family member." He says letting go of me and I back away from the soon to be argument.

"You don't have any Gryffindors in your family! You said so yourself." She says taking a step closer.

"Some new truth has come to light, she is my family wether she or I want her to be or not." I've always disliked Draco, but he's growing on me.

"How are you related then!?" Draco looks at me and I shake my head.

"You'll find out soon, but not now. Why don't you just head back to the dorm and I'll catch up with you later?" Draco says tired of the conversation.

"Fine." She says then storms off.

"Sorry about that."

"It's fine, you can go ahead, I'm gonna stay here a little while longer."

"Alright, stay safe Y/n"

"Yeah, bye." I say as he leaves and I sit down thinking about all this information that I've just learned.
