Ok.

So

I know I kinda left wattpad for 39 days.

I can't express how sorry I am. Even though my story is terrible, everyone has kept commenting, and asking when it will be updated. <3 I was so happy that everyone was looking forward to the next chapter... if there even was one.

Well after seeing how TinyDancer2332 and many other people I follow almost left Wattpad, I've decided that I'm not going to leave!

Honestly, I would feel really guilty and cruel to abandon my very few readers on the 24th chapter. I mean, the books almost done! Right now, I'm going to have to go back and re read the whole thing because I have no idea what's happening, but I promise I'll try to stay on here and finish the book!

Would you do a favour and share this story to at least 2 people? I really really want to get it to 2k reads! We're not far off.

Also, shout out to TinyDancer2332 again, their story Voice is just absolutely AMAZING!!!! So in the time I'm not updating, you can read theirs.

OK, I'm going to read the story now and catch up.

Cranefrost's p.o.v

One day until the fight. Not even. The attack was tonight.

Even though Cranefrost had been looking forward to this for moons, she couldn't help but feel immensely worried.

You see, Cranefrost was afraid of death. Not her own death-, but other cat's deaths. Cats that she loved.

She was scared. What if one of her litter, ates died? What if Acornpaw died? What if Brackenshade died? What if Jackalflame died?

Fear wasn't the only thing Cranefrost felt though. Her heart was beating fast. Adrenaline flowed through her body- but so did anticipation.

She'd already lost too many cats to the Dark Warriors. Thunderclan had lost too many. Larchpaw, Flamebriar, Juniperclaw and Whiskerberry had been taken.

Now, her life goal was to avenge them.

Even if she died trying to.

Cleardawn's p.o.v

It was Sunhigh, and the clan leaders and Bubbles had planned a gathering for every single clan cat in the forest- including kits. Luckily it was in the middle of all territories, so kits wouldn't have to walk too far.

"Tonight," said Minnowstar, "Will go down in clan history."

"We are fighting very powerful cats that have tortured us for long enough." Clawstar announced.

"We have trained and prepared, but usually battles are unpredictable." Honeystar declared.

"There's no doubt that you'll lose one cat, if not many cats that you love." Swiftstar meowed.

"Don't stop to mourn them. We will do that after the fight." Redstar warned.

"Use your love and anger for the cats you have lost to defeat the Dark Warriors." Bubbles sounded.

Suddenly, a meow sounded from the crowd.

"Why are they even called the Dark Warrior?! They are no warriors! They are savage rogues that don't have hearts! They are selfish and greedy and aren't bound to any code that keeps them from being self-centered. They do not worship or respect their ancestors!" Murmurs of agreement met this statement.

"Yeah! They're nothing but rogues!" An apprentice squeaked.

"We're better than them!" Another cat called out.

More cries of motivation came from the cats.

"Thunderclan! Skyclan! Shadowclan! Windclan! Riverclan!" Cats started chanting.

And at that moment, spirits of the clan cats were high, and the tension had disappeared from the atmosphere.

And Cleardawn knew what it was called: hope.

Snowfall's p.o.v

A blinding light silenced all cats.

Everyone was gazing into the sky, where three starry figures sat. To Snowfall, they looked like Juniperclaw, Whiskerberry and Larchpaw, but she didn't know for sure. They could be any cats.

The cat in the middle, the one that looked like Larchpaw, stood up and started walking through the sky. It gazed down at the leaders, and then it scanned the crowd of cats.

Larchpaw's gaze rested on Snowfall, and she held the stare.

"The night approaching will be dark enough to cover the stars." He meowed. And then in another flash, they were gone.

"We should discuss the plan." Swiftstar was the first to speak up after many awkward heartbeats. "As soon as the moon rises, we will send most of our warriors out to the camp, while about thirty will stay back and guard the kits, queens and elders."

"There will be four patrols, one for each side of their camp." Minnowstar instructed.

"Also, from now until the end of the battle, borders will not be needed. We are a team against the... uncivilised rogues?" Honeystar meowed.

There were meows of laughter and amusement from the crowd.

Back at the camp, everyone was helping out and preparing for the battle.

Everyone but Snowfall. She just didn't know what to do. Besides, what was there to do?

Twigfrost approached her.

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked.

Snowfall nodded, and then realised how grateful she felt to have someone checking up on her. At least someone cared. So she decided to tell the truth.

"Well, no actually. I don't know what to do! I'm too nervous! How are you not worrying about all the things that could go wrong?!"

Twigfrost gave her a sympathetic look.

"A battle is a battle. Like Honeystar said, you can never really know how it will end. You can only hope Starclan is watching over you, blessing the clans with speed and strength and skill. What's the worst that could happen anyway? If you die, you'll end up in Starclan!" Twigfrost told her.

I won't, Snowfall thought. Her mind instantly went back to when she killed the kittypet, and the pride she felt when Snipe would give her compliments.

Snowfall just nodded though.

"Thanks," she said.

And then she went back to worrying.
