I got up at 7 in the morning and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower. I came out about 15 minutes later and went to see what I could wear to school.

I decided to go with a plain white T-Shirt and paired it with some faded jeans.Then, just for fun I wore one of Percy's plain blue hoodies. Then I tied my hair up in a ponytail, letting a few curls frame my face. I went to look at the mirror, then wore just a little eyeliner and mascara. Just a little. I wanted my face to look as natural as possible.

When I turned around, I found Percy staring at me with just the smallest trace of pink on his cheeks.

"Gods Percy. You're drooling. I know I look pretty good but maybe you should stop staring." I smirked.

His cheeks started growing redder as he turned away.

" Percy" I drawled " You're blushing" I smirked again. " No I'm not." He said, scowling. Though I had a feeling he was trying really hard to not look embarrassed. "It's because of my fever." He tried to wave it off. I just laughed and turned to walk out of the room. I could feel his eyes on my back as I walked out.

I went to the kitchen and greeted Sally who was already flipping BLUE pancakes like a pro chef.

I suddenly had a thought. "You know, Sally, you could open up your own bakery if you wanted." I suggested.

She sighed, "Yes dear, but my dream is to become a famous novelist, you know. I've actually started writing a book. When you come back in the evening, you should check it out. And then you should definitely give your own suggestions cause I'm kinda having writer's block right know." She rambled on and then laughed.

"Sure! I'd love to." I laughed, "Though I might need a little help in reading it." I said.

She nodded and gave me a plate of pancakes. I took them and went to sit at the finding table. After I finished eating, I washed my plate and kept in its shelf.

"Am I gonna be taking the bus to school?" I asked Sally.
"Only till Percy starts coming to school." She smiled.
"Ok! Then I'd better get going. Bye Sally." I waved at her as I walked out.

I walked till the bus stop and got on the bus at 7:45 (I was wearing a watch).
I went to the last seat and sat down. I then noticed that there was a girl, with a mop of curly red hair, next to me who, for some reason was doodling on her pants.

"Hey!" I said. Cause if I were to make friends in this new school I was gonna have to start somewhere right?

She lifted her head and a look of familiarity passed through her emerald green eyes.

"Annabeth.....Chase?" She asked doubtfully.
"Rachel." I said, "Long time no see, huh?" I laughed awkwardly.
"Yeah" she smiled a bit.

I tried to keep the conversation going and by the end of the ride we had become good friends. When we got off, she said something about art class and went away. I just shrugged and went in. I mean what could be worse than fighting monsters....right?

~~Yep. Rachel's back. I told you there'd be some changes compared to the original past. Well that's just for some spice in life. Welp. This was quite a big chapter compared to the others. Enjoy.
