"Oh, you..." Annabeth started, but she was cut off.

"Annabeth." came Percy's voice in a warning as to not do any thing.

"What?" She asked, even though she knew what he meant well enough

"You know what. Don't act as if you don't." He replied, his vace stern. "Ugh... fine!" she groaned, stomping her feet like a 6-year-old.

"I'll deal with you later." She growled at Mark and turned on her heel, joining Percy a few feet away. She was fuming, but as soon as she was near Perry, he put his arm around her waist firmly as if keeping her from running away.

He turned her so that she was facing him. Before she could comprehend what was happening, he had placed his lips on hers, giving her a soft lingering kiss. But pulled away too fast for her liking, though it removed all the anger in her. She looked at his sea grean eyes filled with love.

"He's not worth it." He said, and with Annabeth nodding to it dejectedly, he smiled.

Suddenly his face lit up like one of those lightbulb moments but it turned into a frown within two seconds. Annabeth was about to ask what was wrong when Percy started speaking- or rather, whining.

"Foooooood.... Come on..we're gonna miss lunch." He whined, but to his disappointment, the bell rang just as he said that.

"Noooo...." He added dramatically, raising his hand in front of him as if to stop someone from flying away.

Annabeth chuckled at his action and pulled him by his wrist, "Come on." She said, rolling her eyes at his childishness though there was a smile playing on her lips. "You don't wanna be late for class," she stated, pulling him with even more force than before whereas he was following her reluctantly with a pout.

Unbeknownst to them, Mark was fuming with anger behind them at their show of affection. "Oh its on Percy, Game on." He growled as he walked away, planning his next move.
