Rachel had been following me all day even after we met new people she was stuck to me like glue and it was becoming really annoying.
Clara and Tracey were in the dorm room in front of Rachel and my room, they were both werewolves and from the human realm, and from the same pack my grandfather once Alpha's over the Deepwater pack.
"Hey, Hayden what are your plans this weekend?" Tracey asks.
This weekend? It was Monday, what nonsense is she asking me right now?
"No plans yet, why?"
"There's a recruiting party," Clara says quietly, leaning forward across the table. "The instructors always throw a party, I hear it gets pretty wild!"
I snort out, really, the instructors? "Isn't that... irresponsible?"
"My brother says its a way to meet new people." Rachel says, making me look at her and then to where her brother was.
Rhys, the highest ranking League member on campus sat with other instructors, including Nohr, who was talking to a woman beside him.
She was beautiful, tall, and slender, with long red hair and a small nose, and big lips, she instantly annoyed me, it was obvious she was into Nohr with how she was sticking close to him.
Nohr was oblivious and respectful, but even from my table on the other end of the room, I could tell he was uncomfortable.
It made me want to laugh, seeing him struggle.
"Thats Natalie, she's a powerful fae from a prominent family." Clara said, with an eye roll.
Shit, was I looking too much? "Who?
"The red head." Clara said a humorous smile on her lips. "Instructor Nohr is famous for turning down girls here, but it still doesn't stop girls from trying." She says with a sigh.
"He looks boring." I say, tearing my eyes from his table to bite into my apple.
Tracey shrugs. "Boring or not, he's so handsome, it should be illegal."
Clara and Rachel nod their head in agreement as I frown.
Just then, a guy walked up to our table and stopped in front of it from the corner of my eye, when I raised my head I almost choked on my apple.
He was exactly my type, tall, muscular and gorgeous with long dark eyelashes and piercing eyes that made me wonder what they'd be like if i-
"Hey, Hayden right?" He spoke, his voice was deep and intoxicating.
I nodded my head and swallowed the remaining of my apple.
"Yes?" I said, looking behind him and noticing others were now looking at our table.
"I'm Bear." He introduced himself with a smile, showing his white sharp teeth.
"You don't remember me?"
I blink, once, twice...
I'm pretty sure I've never met this guy before, he doesn't look familiar.
"Does it make me look bad if I say no?"
He laughed and shook his head. "No, it does not."
"We met five years ago, at a ball the King threw, the queen's birthday if I rambert correctly."
I think hard, trying to remember, even though I can't remember what the hell I did yesterday, the ball I somewhat remember but...
I'm pretty sure I'd remember a guy like Bear.
"Sorry, I don't remember."
Bear smiled, then looked at the other girls at my table before his eyes went back to mine.
"Vaya con dios." Bear said, before winking at me and then walking away.
Vaya...
I remember!
"What was that about?" Rachel asked, watching Bear sit back down at his table, with a bunch of other guys who are laughing and smiling.
Bear... of course... we got incredibly drunk together after I had an argument with my dad, Bear was just there in the garden, and he stayed with me until everyone went home.
I never got his name, so the morning after I just shrugged it off, being too hungover to really care.
"I'm pretty sure I embarrassed myself in front of him at a party." I groan out. "Just my luck."
"He's totally into you." Clara added with a giggle.
"He's looking at you." Rachel whispered.
I looked at his table and saw that he was looking at me, and then I saw behind him, the same table where Rhys and Nohr were sitting with the other instructors.
I caught Nohr's eyes in mine and a chill went down my spine as his bright blue eyes never left mine, not until I looked away and stood up.
I need some fresh air.
"I'll be right back." I tell the girls, before leaving the hall, ignoring the looks of other students.
Fuck- just when I thought Nohr being here wouldn't be a problem, he just had to go and look at me...
I don't care... I shouldnt care, he spoke to me like dirt the last time I saw him, the last time we had sex...
Ugh!
I make it to my dorm room, but before I could close the door behind me, a hand stops me from closing it, making me turn and see who it was.
When I look around the door, I see who it is, and I freeze.
Nohr.
I'm completely speechless, he hasn't said anything yet and I'm already nervous.
Nohr pushes open my door, steps into my room, and closes the door behind him, leaving just the two of us alone, in silence.
"You shouldn't be in here." I tell him, heading towards my bed to grab my phone.
"This is the girl's dormitory."
My heart was beating out of my chest, I felt weird, it's been just over a week and I still act anxious whenever he's near.
"I wanted to apologize to you."
I turn and look at him confused. "What?"
"I'm sorry, for saying what I did the last time we spoke." He said, stepping forward and looking around the room before his eyes go back to mine.
"I'd like it if we started fresh, for professional sake."
Professional sake? How dare he... I should punch him in his fucking face at full strength.
"Sure." I said, hiding my anger with a smile.
"If that's all you wanted, get out of my room."
His mouth twitched as he nodded his head once, turning around and putting his hand on the door handle.
It felt like he wanted to say something more to me as he paused, but then he opened the door and then left, with one last look at me, he closed the door behind him, leaving me standing there shaking.
I don't know why... but I was hoping... maybe...
He wanted a fresh start... which means he wanted to forget all about what we did because he most likely regretted it...
It hurts, even now I still feel attracted to him, more so then any male before him, I've not looked at another since him, or felt the same burning feeling I used to get when I was horny.
Fucking Nohr.
There's no such thing as a fresh start because this isn't over.
If he expects to forget everything just like that, I guess I have no other choice but to make him regret ever following me here.
The weekend couldn't come any sooner... I desperately need to relax, and Bear... Bear might just be the one to help with that.
