Lexie's POV
today 's friday. the day before mark and i will go out. as usual, we walked to school together. i asked him the place where we want to go, but he just replied to me that it was a surprise. wow, so this guy even knows how to give someone a surprise huh? i bugged him about the place over and over again but, he just won't budge. this went on until we reached the school gate. there, we parted ways and i ran to meet christine. as usual, she greeted me and asked me about mark and as usual, i lied to her. as we were going to our first class, christine tapped my shoulder. "lex", she said. "what?", i wondered.
"do you wanna hang out tomorrow?", she asked.
"i'd love to, but i can't."
"why?"
"i already have my plans for tommorow. i'm going out."
"with whom?"
"it's confidential."
"so you're leaving me alone?"
"i'm sorry christine. maybe next time."
"ok then", she said as she went inside her classroom. i feel so bad that i can't go with her. it's just that, i have my plans already.
Christine's POV
"that was weird", i thought, "lexie would never turn me down every time i would tell her that we would go shopping. it just doesn't make sense why she would turn me down though. something's not right. wait, she said that she was going out with someone. who could it be? well then, i guess i'll have to change my plans for tomorrow."
