Mark's POV
when we got in the hotel, i was immediately greeted by the hotel management members. they were all lined up (as always) and were bowing to me after they greeted me a good morning. "guys, how many times have i told you, quit doing this. it makes me feel anxious", i said. "well, we always try to thank the man who helped build this hotel of ours. it's the least we can do for you, sir", the manager said. "guys, for the last time, will you just call me mark? hah", i sighed, "anyways, can i get the key to the room i can temporarily stay in? i need it so that my companion here can relax there for a bit"
"oh my, sir mark has a girlfriend!" one of them said.
"she looks so beautiful", said another.
"they look cute together", someone blurted out.
"guys, please, don't misunderstand", i clarified, "we're just friends"
"aww, that's a downer. we thought you already got a lady for yourself, sir", the manager said.
"well, that's okay, i mean, there will be a time when that happens. anyway, i would like you all to meet lexie. she's my schoolmate and a friend of mine. treat her well, okay?" i said. "yes sir!", they said in unison. "the room is still the same as always, sir", the manager said. "thank you, mr. link. we'll take our leave now", i thanked the manager, then turned to lexie, "so, let's go?" "okay", she replied.
Lexie's POV
well, i am still in shock after what just happened by the entrance of the hotel. i mean, the crew were treating him like a vip! and they were telling that mark had helped them. what did he do to make a five-star hotel treat him like a star?!?! when we got inside the room, i was totally shocked. the room was really, really simple! "yeah, i've, kind of forgot to tell you, but um, i have asked them to just give me a simple room whenever i go here, i hope it doesn't bother you in any way possible. does it?", mark said. "no, not at all! it's totally fine by me. " i replied. "hey lexie?" mark said. "call me lex", i demanded. "well, ok then, um, lex, i'll just change for a while", he said. "okay, i'll just wait here", i replied. "oh, and by the way, you can just lie on the bed and watch tv." he said as he was changing in the bathroom. "no problem", i replied. as i laid down on the bed, i can feel the softness of the matress. i feel so comfortable. after a while, mark got out the bathroom in a casual suit. "well, what do you think?" he asked. OH. MY. GOSH. he looks so handsome in the suit!!! i don't know why he would go and look so doomed at school, but if he were like this everyday, all the girls will go to him. "u-uh, y-you l-look a-amazing", i stuttered. god! why did my brain stop working when my heart got so worked up! damn. and after that, mark just told me to go to the cafe and just get whatever i want. i just nodded and he told me to wait for him at the cafe after i was already rested and after that, he bid goodbye as he went to the auction room.
