"Hey mom?" I say cautiously, Johnnie finally convinced me to come and talk to her. "What is it?" My heart faster, the tension in me rising. I begin shaking, why am I so nervous? I mean it's just my mom and she's very understanding so she shouldn't care. But, there's this one part of me, slowly consuming the rest of me that's telling me she'll say no and make Johnnie leave. He gives my hand a tight squeeze, reasurring me that everything will be alright no matter what happens. If we're pulled apart we could do our best to make it work, though, I'd love to be able to go, escape the dying fear of losing Johnnie. I take a deep breath, forcing myself to do as I so dread to.

"So you kniw how Johnnie and I got together right?" I start, trying to stay as calm as possible and not come out a stuttering mess. She nervously nods as her face drains of colour and worry fills her eyes. "Well we were talking and decided it'd be better if could move to LA with them. I'd have an apartment of my own and I'll be finishing my studies by taking online classes." She still doesn't seem to be 100% with it and I feel a sense of worry washing over me. "We've talked about trying to make a long distance thing work but we realized those really don't last or work out. Also we both feel paranoid of the circumstances of being thousands of miles apart and scared one might do something, find someone new and just ditch the other. So we feel more comfortable with something like this." Johnnie says trying to comfort her on the matter and ease her into letting us. I give her a small, yet still extremely nervous smile and she sighs. "Oh okay fine I'll let you go, but, only if you promise to be safe and wont do anything stupid."

A huge smile spreads across my face and I let out a small squeal. "Mom! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I promise I'll stay safe I wont do anything to harm myself!" I engulf her in a hug, excited because she said yes.

"Okay well Bryan said he's already found a very nice apartment at a decent price so once we pack you up we can go down there. Its fully furnished so you'll really only need your clothes and other belongings you would like to take."

"I'll text Bryan and thank him as soon as possible, thank you for talking to him!" I lean over and place a kiss on Johnnie's cheek. "Okay, but when do we need to be up there by?"

"We need to be there by Friday, it's Wednesday now so that should be enough time to pack and say goodbye right?" I nod in excitement, I can't wait to leave. But, what about my friends? And my family, how will they all react? It's all so sudden.

"What's wrong?" Johnnie asks pulling me out of it, I look at him, my smile slowly fading. "This is all so sudden, what about my friends and family? I can't just up and leave them like this."

"Kyle, calm down, it'll be fine. You can come down and visit them as much as possible, you're just over thinking this. Just breath." He's right, I am over thinking this and might be slightly over reacting. I take a breath and quickly calm down.

"Better?"

"Much" I reply, smiling and wrapping my arms around his waist. I look around, my mom must have walked away. Taking the chance, I lean forward, placing a kiss on Johnnie's lips.

"Come on, let's go start packing" I say filling back up with excitement.

Johnnie and I sit in my room for a while, blasting music and singing at the top of our lungs as we begin to go through my stuff. I'm surprised my mother hasn't yelled at us yet. Or maybe she has? I'm not sure, it's too loud to tell or hear anything.

I lean over, looking for a knew song to play when I feel Johnnie wrap his arms around my waist, laying his head on my back. "How about we take a break and do a live show?" I smile at the suggestion even though he can't see me. Pausing the music I turn around in his arms. I wrap mine around his neck and press a soft kiss on his lips.
