The next morning Johnny was woken up by the brightness of his windows. He usually had his morning coffee and trained early but today we wanted to sleep in a bit more. He looked at the clock on his night stand and noticed it was already 10:00am. Their plane left at 1:00pm so he turned around to wake up Ten. He found an empty bed and the sheets were cold. His heart sinked by the thought that Ten ran away. He stood up and went looking for him around the house. He felt an immediate relief when he saw his boyfriend making coffee with the french press, Johnny's favorite way to take it. Ten looked different. His hair was in a ponytail and his bare face seemed to glow. When he noticed his boyfriend's presence he gave him a smile.

- Good morning love. Have a seat, coffee's almost ready. - Johnny was happy to see him in his house, acting like it was also his.

- You scared me Tennie! I thought you left again. - Johnny entered the kitchen to give him a morning kiss. - How do you feel? - He asked while he caressed his face.

- I feel great. My body feels a little sore but I should be fine, I took some painkillers when I woke up. - he pecked Johnny on the lips before serving the coffee. - What about you? You usually don't sleep this much. -

- Yeah, I feel tired too. I woke up a little worried about some things though. How are we going to tell the rest of the boys? - Johnny had been thinking about this since the night before but he didn't want to spoil the moment. Taeyong had told him to come out as they were because they would be equally accepted but it wasn't that easy.

- Babe we should be fine. I mean, it's not like they are clueless about us. Some of the members have approached me about it in the past but I had to keep denying it since we weren't a thing. Regardless of their reactions I'm not leaving you. - Johnny felt grateful for his boyfriend's reassurance. He was confident in the relationship they started building but wanted to make sure everything around was also in place.

They had their morning coffee together and reminisced about the night before. This precise moment seemed like a fantasy until last night. Ten confirmed that he made the right decision and Johnny finally expressed his feelings. They were ready to work on their relationship and make up for all the time they wasted.

- Should we go upstairs? We need to get ready and leave for the airport. - Johnny took his boyfriend by the hand and led him upstairs.

- It's still early, I think we might have some time to have a little fun before leaving. - Ten whispered in Johnny's ear.

- You just can't get enough can you? That's one of the reasons I love you. - Johnny carried Ten and led him into his room to have a private moment before going back to Korea.

Most of the members arrived at the airport in the company bus but Johnny and Ten drove there. Once they arrived they met with the rest of the group. Xiajoun noticed Ten was happier than usual and pulled him aside.

- You seem in a good mood. Where were you last night? I went to your hotel room and you weren't there. - Xiajoun already knew the answer but he wanted Ten to spill the beans.

- I spent the night somewhere else. I tried to go back but it was too late. - Ten lied. He wanted to tell his friend but he wasn't sure how.

- Stop lying! - Xiaojun laughed. - I know where you were. Just confess already. -

Ten couldn't help the blush that appeared on his face. - Ok fine, I was with Johnny. He took me home after dinner and I stayed over. Just don't say anything yet. We want to tell the rest of the group but we are waiting to get on the plane. -

Xiaojun gasped and hugged Ten. He knew how much Ten wanted to be with Johnny and they finally made it. - Tennie congratulations! I am so happy for both of you. I'm sure everyone else will be too. - He said but it almost sounded like a whisper.

Johnny noticed that Ten had separated from him and walked with Taeyong to the entrance of the airport. - Hey TY, there's something I wanted to talk to you about. - Taeyong knew it was serious so he removed his headphones.

- Yeah sure man. What is it? -

- So last night Ten came over and we had a conversation. He apologized and we decided to try and be together. - Johnny said, pronouncing each word carefully, waiting for his friend's reaction.

- And...? - Taeyong knew there was information missing.

- And I asked him to be my boyfriend. He said yes. - Johnny said with a smile on his face.

- No way bro! That's amazing, I'm so happy for you. I know this is exactly what you wanted, congratulations. - Taeyong pulled Johnny into a tight hug. The rest of the members were giving them weird looks, wondering what was happening.

- Thanks man. We're planning to tell the rest when we board the plane so please let's keep it between us. - Johnny was nervous before leaving the house but now he just wanted to tell all his friends that he finally found love.

The group was escorted to their private plane and boarded. They found their seats and the flight attendants received them with champagne glasses. They were about to drink up when Johnny stood up and asked for everyone's attention. All the boys looked confused.

- Okay guys so, as you know we are leaving my hometown today and many of you may be taking beautiful memories. I created my own and now I want to share them with you. As some of you might know, Ten and I have been friends for such a long time but we faced some situations on the way. Coming to Chicago helped the both of us clear the air between us. We had a conversation and we realized that we were feeling something more than a simple friendship. Anyways, yesterday after dinner he came over and we spent the night together. That being said, Ten and I are officially a couple so- . The group didn't let them finish. They started applauding and took turns to hug the new couple. Ten felt overwhelmed by the amount of support he felt from his friends. All he ever wanted was to have a healthy relationship and be accepted.

Because of the hugs and small talk with their friends, Johnny and Ten were separated inside the plane but when their eyes met Ten mouthed his new favorite words, I LOVE YOU. Johnny smiled and replied the same way. As they took their seats the plane took off and they were on their way to Korea.
