~Ciel's POV~
I am finally going to start working out. I'm going to make Sebastian build a course in the public park. I don't like this skinny, boney boy look.
Mei is got her cast removed yesterday. I feel happy for her, especially since it healed so quickly. I am so glad to have a friend who understands me so well. I'm going to wrote her a letter (that's how they communicate at school), thanking her about everything.
I walked over to my desk and I opened a navy blue binder. I flipped though notebook papers and I finally found a blank piece. I ripped it out, not bothering to take it out the correct way, and snatched the pen that was directly beside it. I laid the price of paper flat onto the desk and scribbled down my note.
I folded it up and stuffed it aggressively into the envelope. I threw the pen back onto the desk letting it give off a thunk.
I put it into my school uniform pocket and dashed through my door. I was greeted by Mei eating cereal at the table. I grabbed my toast and lunch. When Mei finished we scrambled through the door. Christmas is next week and we are celebrating it here.
The only reason we are celebrating it is because it is all Mei talks about.
She is quiet the energetic one and playful, despite her quietness and lonesome role.
She and I trotted down the steps and onto the sidewalk. Mei was surprisingly fast at running. We were later than expected but we will made it just in time.
We swung the school doors open and pranced up the stairs. Everyone was going to their classes and I was halted by Lydia Maria crying on the wall.
I wanted to ignore it like she did to me, but Mei is different. She opened her lunch and grabbed her chocolate popsicle. She patted Lydia's tanned shoulder and she looked up with tears streaming down her freckled face."What do you want Mei?" She said in a stuck up, but sad voice.
Mei didn't answer but she grabbed Lydia's hand and placed the popsicle on Lydia's palm. Lydia smiled and got up.
"Thank you, Mei." She whispered. She was running down the hallway when she slipped, crashing through the window. She sent a shriek for help. Mei wanted to grab her hand but Lydia was too far away.
We looked through the window to see her sprawled onto the ground.
Mei started getting wide eyed and placing her hands on her ears, screaming and crying.~Mei's POV~
I could hear all the screams from everyone that died. It is making me go crazy and my chest is feeling tight. I cover my ears and scream, I need help. I fall to my knees and fall over. I curl up into a ball and cry. I stop screaming and Hitsu is sitting down, putting his arm on my back.
I sit up and hug him. That's all I need right now, just a hug. He hugged me back and I cried into his shoulder. He rubbed my back soothing me of all worries.
Everyone was crowding by the window, while I was with Hitsu hugging him. I broke the hug and stood up. I ran to the restroom and looked into the mirror. My eyes were puffy from crying.
Around Sakakibara I couldn't show my feelings because I wasn't that comfortable. Even though I barely know Hitsu, there is an instant connection. Hitsu is different from everyone else. He doesn't try to fit in or be like the others. He is exactly like me, no friends, no family, just that one person you can trust. We went back to the class and acted like nothing happened.
~end of class~
Me and Hitsu were the last ones to leave. Everyone else left so quickly, even a cheetah couldn't catch up. Hitsu and I walked back home saying no words (as usual) and found that Bard made us ramen.
Sebastian had been setting the table when Mey-Rin came over and dropped the glasses filled with tea. Sebastian quickly grabbed both glasses before any tea spilled. A drop was about to spill on the white carpet, but Sebastian threw a glass into the air that was flying upward, swooped down and caught the drop, then grabbed the cup when it was sailing back down.
I was shocked, it's amazing to see a normal butler do this. Mey-Rin was blushing a red a a tomato when she clinged onto his sleeve,"Sorry, Sebastian! I'm just to clumsy you see!"
"It is okay." He said delightfully then giving the cups back to Mey-Rin. "Don't mess up again."
She nodded and set them down, carefully. While I stood there shocked, Hitsu just walked by not caring. We sat into our comfy chairs and ate.
"Sebastian go to the park and build me an obstacle course. I also don't want anyone in my when when doing it." Hitsu shared his ideas with Sebastian. "Make it easy at first but hard when I'm use to it" (that's what she said, lol.)
~Ciel POV~
Sebastian went to the park 10 minutes before me and Mei. We grabbed a pack of water and Mei made sandwichs for us all. We put the sandwhichs in a plastic bag and then the water in a white ice chest. Since we didn't want the sandwhichs to spoil, we threw them in there too.
Me and Mei just want to forget everything. We walked through the streets a few feet apart and I held the chest.
When we arrived Sebastian had set up a humongous set. He walked us over and stopped us at the start. I then ordered Sebastian to tell me why Mei was doing it also.
"Well you certainly don't want her to be left out now do you?" He answered.
I looked at Mei who gave me a weak smile. I set the chest down in the grass and asked one more thing to Sebastian," How many times do I have to do this?"
"5"
Great. He added another thing.
"First you climb up the rock wall, them cross the wooden bridge, down the rope that's on the egde, through the tires on the ground, up the stairs, and down the long slide. Then go backwards. Up the slide, down the stairs, go through the tires again, back up the rope, cross the bridge, and down the rock wall."
Crap, that's way too complicated, I'll just follow Mei to see where she goes. It won't be hard to stay caught up with her.
"On your mark, get set"
I waited for the word shaking like crazy.
"Go."
