**~one week later~**
Being ignored was perfectly fine. I learned the crimson haired boy's name is Ransu Ai. I wonder what Grell would think of him. Ransu is gay, and loves Pita Jitsu. All he ever talks about is Pita. Such love. If he only knew what Pita says behind his back.Mei however never says anything at all, she just stays in the background. I noticed that no one ever greets her or tries to start a conversation with her. She has physical appearances different from everyone else. She has one eye, like me.
But we have only that thing in common. No, we both have no friends. But that doesn't bother me, they are all unsophisticated. The lunch food gives me the shivers. Blech. Just thinking about it makes me gag.
I finally need to make my move on Mei. She isn't going to just ignore me anymore. She goes to the roof everyday and I watch her from afar. She is very good at drawing, talented. She can stay calm in serious matters. Like when Pita Jitsu started choking on his rice ball she didn't do anything but stare. Of course, Ransu saved his life.
She got up and I knew this was perfect timing. I felt for my pistols. All of them were loaded and ready to shoot.
She went to the railing and held to it tightly. She knew I was there, breathing down her neck. I stood directly behind her, holding a pistol in my hand. I then slowly lifted it and shoved it into her back.
She held so tightly to the railing her knuckles were as white as a lost soul. I got close and whispered in her ear," Mei, poor innocent Mei. Nobody suspects a thing. "
I pulled the trigger.
Nothing, the trigger was stuck. I stumbled backwards and looked at the gun. Damn! Sebastian why did you put it on safety!
By the time I got safety off she was already out the door. It was my perfect chance and now its all down the drain!
"Damn, you Mei." I said clenching my fists and biting down on my teeth. She won't get away next time.
**~after class~**
I was walking home and I saw Mei. No one was around, deserted. So I used my time to talk to her. I checked to see if the gun was on safety again. It wasn't. I went to her and put the pistol to her head."Talk or your going to get covered in your own brain" I yelled, pulling her somewhere between 2 houses.
She took a deep breath and let it out. She looked at me and said, "Hi."
"Is that all you have to say?" I sneered.
She nodded. I can't believe that she's just going to let herself die like that.
" You shouldn't be around me, Hitsu."
"Why, what are you going to do? You weak girl." I hatefully teased. "Pathetic little girl. No wonder you have no friends."
She looked at me with her lovely red eye. She turned to where the pistol was aiming at her forehead. At that point I realized we were the same height. She looked at me with the same look she gave me when I was chosen as the ignored. Then her eyes welled up with tears. She collapsed to the ground.
I remember that kind of look. The lost hope and despair. I reached to touch her back but she hit my arm. She started crying things.
"........Misaki......Fujioka....."
"Mom.......Sakakibara..."I knelt down next to her. She wasn't the person she was believed to be. Why would the queen send me such letters about Mei. I treated her so horrible, not the way a lady should be treated.
"Why are crying?" I asked, surprising calm. I knew that I can't let my guard down easily, this could be an act. She moved by a dumpster and curled into a ball.
I didn't really want to sit down so I knelt down (L off of Death Note style) holding my pistol in one hand.
She began her story-
"Last year, I was the ignored one for Class 3-3. One day, Sakakibara came and started the curse up. He didn't know the rules. My sister that I was told was my cousin my whole life died of leukemia. My twin sister, my best friend. Sakakibara left, my only friend. My mom, who is actually my aunt, hates me, while I hate her back. So many deaths, so tragic, unbearable. Even after the curse was lifted everyone ignored me. I failed due to no grades because they acted as if I never existed. I somehow, yet again ended back in Class 3-3. I loved Sakakibara!" She stopped after that all you could hear from her was sniffing and pouts. She looked up at me. That medical eye patch was hiding something. I reached for it, but before I could grab the patch she dug her face into her knees.
I stood up and patted her shoulder. She looked up and I held out my hand. She hesitated for a moment but grabbed my hand. I helped her up and she ran towards me, crying in my shoulder.
**~at the home~**
I walked Mei back to her house and we didn't say a single word to each other. I was greated by an overwhelming aroma of spice. Sebastian had the whole table set with fresh food. I wasnt sure what it is. Sebastian knew exactly what I was thinking." While Wagyu cattle are raised both in and outside Japan, the Kobe varietal which is raised specifically in the Hyogo prefecture is the most elite. Employing the most traditional production methods, Kobe beef comes from cows that are allegedly fed only beer and massaged by hand to ensure a tenderness and marbling beyond compare. These dishes can be out of range for the average restaurateur, carrying an unhealthy load of fat and a price tag to match. Neatly placed on a plate imbedded with gold and carved neatly into a flower. The forks and knives are pure gold from the queen herself."
I sat down in my chair, of a things he could have gotten was a new chair.
I ate and went to sleep, what an exhausting day.
