Chapter 6 : The secret of a witch

The next day
Around 11 o' clock

{Selena's point of view}

I was cleaning out the servants quarters. As I was sweeping under my bed, the broom hit something. I looked at the other side of the bed and found a box. "What's this?" I asked myself as I went to the box. I picked up the box and put it on the bed. I opened it to find a book. "What is this?" It was a book that had a red pentagram on it and was black. "A book?" I took it out of the box and placed it on the bed. I was about to open it when I sensed someone coming closer to the room. I put the book in the box and pushed it back under the bed. I went and picked up the broom so I could finish up sweeping. I finished up as the door opened. I sensed that Claude walked into the room. He looked at me as I turned to face him. "Mmm... hello dad." I said as he stared at me. "Hello Cassandra." He said as I walked to the door. I bowed at him as I left the room. I walked off the hallway so I could clean it.

I got there and I started sweeping the floor. I thought about the book that I saw and I wonder where it came from. "That book was strange." I told myself as I couldn't stop thinking about it. I felt a connection with that book for some reason. I didn't understand what it was. I just felt like I was connected with the book. WITH A FREAKING BOOK! But I couldn't help but wonder what was inside.

Time skipped. 2 hours later

{Selena's point of view}

I just finished up in the hallways as I sneaked of to the servants quarters to find the book. I got there and went to the side if the bed. I pulled out the box and went to close the door. I came back and took out the book from the dusty box. I looked at it with great curiosity. "What a fascinating book?" I said as I looked at it. "I wonder how it opens." I said as I put it down and opened it. I looked at the book as I ran my hand down the page that it was open to. Just then, letter and symbols appeared on the book pages and others started to glow blue. I felt strange around the book.

I was fascinated by the way the symbols and letters were written. I chanted something from the book but I couldn't see anything happening. I flipped through the pages as I suddenly blacked out on top of the book...

Time skipped

I woke up two hours later with a massive headache. I held my head as I looked at the bed and found the book missing as well as the box. I checked under the bed but it wasn't there. I went and checked in the cupboard but it wasn't there either. I checked under one of the other beds but it wasn't there either. I checked the whole room but I couldn't seem to find the book anywhere. "Oh goodness. Where is the book? Where could it of gone? Who could of taken it?" I said as I put my hand on my head. I looked at the clock and walked out the room. I made my way to the library so I could clean it up. I felt that I might need to work longer than usual.

I went to the library and picked up a duster. I started to dust all the books in the first shelf. I dusted all the books and moved to the next shelf. I thought about the book when my mind just slipped to something else. One of the triplets, Canterbury. I thought about the time with Sebastian. "Canterbury?" I questioned myself as I continued the dusting. Another thought came into my head about him. "I wonder why he looked at me like that." I said as I remembered walking past him and he looked at me.

I didn't exactly notice how he was looking at me. I finished up the shelf and went to the next one. I didn't realise how many times he looked at me like that. I took out a random book and dusted the cover of it. I put it back and continued with dusting the books. I felt something strange about me. I felt stronger than before. I was working at a faster pase and I was more stronger than before.

Time skipped
That night...

I sat on the bed as I was in my night clothes that consisted of a white shirt and pants that was made of silk and was made by my own two hands. I sat there with a book in front of me.

Suddenly, I sensed something strange from a distance. I went to the window as my eyes turned a crimson pink colour. I opened the window and jumped out. I ran towards the forest at demon speed. I could tell that I wasn't the only one there. I felt like I was running towards a demon reunion. I continued running until I came to a lake. No body else was there at the lake. I felt like this lake was the core of where the energy was coming from. I looked across the lake to see another girl. She stepped into the light of the moon and stood by the lake.

I could see her crystal blue eyes staring directly at me. Her black hair swayed in the wind as she stood across me and we looked at each other in the distance. Just then, she disappeared. I looked up at the hill across the lake and saw an elderly figure standing next to her as the moon light shined at them. The next thing that happened was that they have disappeared. I could senses the same demons that were chasing me last time approaching. I made a run for it before they got to me. I ran through the forest to save my life. I continued to run until I slipped down a cliff and made a hard landing on the ground. I blacked out as my eyes closed...

Next time on...

"Where the hell am I?" Selena asked as she was in a tent.

"We found you unconscious" a guy says.

"You will work here as a slave" a man says.

"What?! Never!" Selena says as they pull her away.
