Chapter 4 : Phantomhive's, Trancy's and Michaelis

That next morning at the Manor

{Selena's point of view}

I woke up in an unfamiliar place. I didn't know what place this was. I looked around to see a room. The last thing I could remember was falling and banging my head against a tree after running from demons. Wait, did the demons get me? I was about to get out of bed when suddenly, the door opened. I looked to the door to see a tall, handsome man with red eyes and raven, black hair. I was sure I saw him before. "Where am I?" I asked him as he looked at me. "Welcome to the Phantomhive manor." He said as I examined every last thing around me. "Who are you? I am sure I have seen you before." I said as I stood up from the bed and walked towards him. I sensed him and I looked at him in his butler suit and it hit me.

"Earl Phantomhive's butler? Sebastian Michaelis. I have heard a lot about you from my father." I said as I walked around him. "So. You are Faustus's daughter? It's a pleasure to meet you." He said as I was back to where I started, in front of him. "Selena Cassandra Faustus. It's a pleasure to meet you, Sebastian." I said as I looked at him with my hands behind my back. "Anyway, I should get going. I have to get back home." I said as I made my way to the exit. "Please, stay to see my master for breakfast. He has been waiting for you to awake the whole night. At least you can meet him for breakfast." He said as I stopped in front of the door. "Tell him I had to go home. It was urgent for me to go. I had work that needed to be done." I said as I opened the door and walked out of the room. I made my way for the stairs when I was confronted by the earl.

"Oh. You are awake. That's great news. I'm Ciel Phantomhive, the earl of this manor." He said as I swallowed my breath and looked at him. "It's a pleasure to meet you sir. I am Selena Cassandra Faustus, a mere maid in the Trancy household and I really need to get going." I said as I bowed to him. "At least stay for breakfast." He said as I looked at him. "There is no need. I'm fine. I only want to return home safely." I said as Sebastian walked up to Ciel. "We will take you home to Trancy mansion later. Anyway, I have somethings I need to discuss with that brat of an earl." As he said the last sentence as soft as he could and turned away from me. "Come Sebastian. Prepare me and Elizabeth breakfast. I'm starving." He said as he started walking away. "Yes my Lord." Sebastian said as he slightly bowed. He looked at me weirdly but I didn't react or anything. I could tell he wanted me to help him by how he stared at me intensely. "Just tell me what you want Mr Michaelis. It's as simple as that. Just tell me." I said as I crossed my arms and closed my eyes. "If you want to, you may assist me in making my masters breakfast. I'm sure you can make something if you are a Trancy mansion maid." He said as I felt disgusted by how he said every word so mockingly. I felt like slapping him right there but I have no right to slap my elders or tell them no when they want me to help them. "Okay then. Let's get going. We have lots of work to do if we want breakfast to be prepared in time. We have lots to do in limited time. Let's go." I said as I grabbed his hand and ran to the kitchen with him. I couldn't tell what he was thinking but I wish I could.

Time skipped
After breakfast

{Third person point of view}

It was after breakfast was served to Ciel and his loving wife, Elizabeth. Selena watched as they enjoyed the food and she got a lot of good remarks from earl Phantomhive with the way she prepared his breakfast. "It's splendid to have breakfast prepared by somebody other than Sebastian for a change, isn't it Ciel?" Lady Elizabeth said to him as he looked at her. "Yes, you are right Lizzy." He said to her as he finished up his breakfast. "It wasn't bad at all. It actually very enjoyable for somebody like you to prepare and to have it made in such a short period of time, impressive." He said as Selena slightly bowed at his remarkable comment of how she prepares food. She never had the opportunity to get praised for her accomplishments by Alois as he never noticed her as anything important and she just went on like that and continued her life like normal.

"I just prepared it like normal sir. It is nothing important or big about how I made this dish sir." She said as he got up and walked to the exit. "Lizzy, I'm going to Trancy mansion to meet Alois. I'll be back shortly after I leave." He said as Sebastian walked out with him and Selena followed. Ciel and Selena got into the carriage while Sebastian drove it.

It has been a while now since they left the manor and she realised that she runs faster than the carriage ever can and will. She looks at the world around her, going by as they drive closer and closer towards Trancy mansion, where she has to be at the moment. She thought about how badly he was going beat her up or maybe how he is going to punish her or even what kind of abuse he is going to use on her. She was very much, lost in her own world until she was disrupted. "Where are you lost?" Ciel asked her as she looked at him. "I'm here. It's nothing." She said as he looked out the window.

She looked out the window as they hit a rock. She holds the side of the carriage as they drive along the dirt road towards Trancy Mansion. Just then, they hit something but this time, they was pulled off the road. The carriage hit something else as they came to a stop. Selena opens the door of the carriage and jumps out. She looks around at the forest that surrounds them. She stands by the tree that they crashed into as the Earl gets out of the carriage.

Just then, as she stood by the tree, she sensed someone walk towards them from the right. She looks to where she sensed the demon. She sensed someone else coming from the opposite direction. They both where familiar to her when she was unexpectedly grabbed from behind and was pulled into the forest. She was pulled off when he let her go and she turned to see the triplets standing there. "What are you three doing here?" She asked them as they started whispering to each other and she slapped Canterbury so they could shut up. They looked at her as Canterbury was shocked by how hard she slapped him.

The pain of his cheek made his jaw line pain as well. "We was told to get you back home by your father." Thompson said as she looked at them. "I can take care of myself." She said as she started walking off back to the carriage. They attack her as she faints due to the pain that they caused her. Timber and Thompson drags her back home. They sense someone following them back.

Time skipped
At the Manor of Earl Trancy

The triplets arrive, back at the Manor. They run into the servants quarters as fast as possible. They put her on the bed and head back to work. Claude opens the front door to find Sebastian and Ciel standing there...

Next time on...

"What are you doing here" Claude asked Sebastian while they were alone.

"I'm here for Cassandra" Sebastian said.

"Stay away from her"
