~Chapter Twelve~

"What do you mean, you have to kill Zan'ka?" Nova asked, with worry in her voice. Northstar looked at Nova, but didn't speak for a moment. "I'll tell you after, I just-" She turned around and saw that the wolf was gone. Her eyes widened, and she looked at Ta'kar, who was also gone. "TA'KAR?!" She yelled, trying to fly up, but the pain in her chest kept her down.

"Northstar, calm down, please!" Nova said, putting her head on Northstar's neck. "Please." Northstar's cheeks were tainted with pink, but she put her head on Nova's hooves, relaxing for a moment. "We'll find them, promise. But you have to relax for a bit." Northstar breathed out slowly, her heart slowing down a little bit. 

"Alright."

Northstar felt the wind hitting her face, her wings feeling light. She saw the ground was rushing, like she would see if she was flying. She looked up, seeing a bright white pegasus, with cloud-looking wings. She looked like the same pegasus that Northstar looked like when she saw her Mother and Brother. "W-who are you? Where's Nova?" The black pegasus blurted. The white stranger looked down with eyes full of curiosity. 

"Ye-sha?" She said, making Northstar tilt her head. "Uta-qu."

"What?"

"Uta-qu."

Northstar looked at her, not knowing what she was saying. "Ve-yoqu. Pa-lar, latou." The white pegasus flew down, letting Northstar on the ground and landing next to her. "I'm going to ask again. Who are you? And where is Nova?" Northstar asked, more sternly. Her eyes drifted to the pegasus' neck, where there was a diamond crested in her chest. 

Instantly, the white horse covered the diamond with her wing. She gave it a small tap with the tip of her feather before clearing her throat and opened her mouth to speak. "My name is Cloudhail." She said, shaking her mane a little bit. "And those words that I said? I was saying my name in Kota-Vu, also known as the Olden Language." "I never heard that before?" Northstar said, following Cloudhail.

"It's because you were never in the Kota-Vu Village, or the Valley. I was." Cloudhail explained, tucking in her white wings. Northstar shook her head. "So what your- WAIT NOVA!" She yelled out, scaring Cloudhail. "Who?" Cloudhail asked, shaking her mane again. "M-my girlfriend," Northstar stuttered, slightly blushing. "Uh-huh.." Cloudhail said slowly, looking at Northstar like she doesn't believe her. 

Northstar looked around, and realized she was in a forest. "Where am I?" She asked, flaring up her wings. "The Valley," Cloudhail said. "The.. Valley?" Northstar echoed, putting her wings down. Cloudhail nodded. She pushed some leaves to the side and revealed a village, full of horses and pegasi, all of them mostly white, while some were a darker color. "Que-voutar!" Cloudhail announced, making everyone turn their heads towards the two pegasi. 

"What's..?" Northstar started to say, before she saw all of them open their mouths to speak.

"Chosen One."
