CHAPTER 18

The same day Jungkook return his home happily. Though his day in university was not so good but after receiving the bag full of his favorite snacks made him happy. Food makes him the happiest.

He reached home soon. When he entered the house, Jungkook saw his mom sitting on the couch all dressed up and ready for something.

Jungkook was curious that why his mom is all dressed up, but didn't asked anything cause he doesn't wanna be the one to start the conversation.

He ignored her and was about to go to his room when he heard his mom's voice.

" Jungkook freshen up quickly , we are having lunch over Jin's house. " Mrs. Jeon said with a stern voice.

" No, I will eat at home, you can go. " He replied.

" I am not giving you any option , just get ready, his parents are back home and we all really gonna have an important conversation , your presence is mandatory" Mrs. Jeon information.

Jungkook just scoffed at his mother's tone. He went to his room to freshen up. He wear his casual clothes and within 10 mins he was ready.

He went downstairs in the living room.

" I am ready mom. "

Mrs. Jeon nodded and signalled him to follow her.

Soon they reached at Jin's home , because he just lives next door.

All the people were now sitting on the dining table facing each other.

Jin and his parents on the right side of the table and Jungkook and his mom opposite to them.  Seo -ah was also there, sitting beside Jin.

Jungkook first instinct was to run away from there after watching her face but one stern look from his mom was enough for him to stay.

The moment was full of tension . No one of them  was speaking a single world.

They all were eating their food silently when , waiting for someone to start conversation.

Jin took it upon himself and said.
" So dad, mom can you tell us why we all are gathered here, what you wanted to talk to us? "

Mrs. Kim sighed and looked at Jungkook straight as she directed her words to Jin.

" Jin, we all know how important a mate is for our life, they are our other part, our soulmate , our companion. "

Jungkook squirmed a little in his seat due to her stare.

" Yup, I know all that mom, can you please just get straight to the point. " Jin said.

" Jin, let aunt go according her pace, why are you interrupting her. " Seo-ah said.

Mr and Mrs. Kim smiled at the girl's maturity.

" You are very mature Seo-ah, unlike someone I knew " Mrs. Kim said side-eyeing Jungkook who was just looking at his lap feeling uncomfortable.

" So what I wanted to tell you is, Jin we all know you find your mate which is Jungkook. But clearly things between both of you are not good. " She continued.

Jungkook sensing where the topic is going , stood up immediately to leave but his mom caught his hand and asked him to sit in his place.

Mr. and Mrs. Kim frowned at the boy's action.

This time Mr. Kim cleared his throat as he said
" Earlier Jungkook was not accepting you, we also came to know that he use to bully you and even ignored your courting for him, even though he is the wrong one in the first place. "
