CHAPTER 29

Jungkook was waiting on the bed since last fifteen minutes for Jin's return.
" What's taking him so long? What might be they talking about, hmm should I check maybe I will befriend Seo-ah too"

Jungkook got off from the bed. He wore his slippers and took his leave from the bedroom.

He was walking through hallway  expecting them to be in the living room. But to his surprise the room was totally empty.

He searched in the kitchen incase both of them were eating and talking but they were not there as well.

He huffed in annoyance when he didn't find both of them in Seo-ah's room too.

" Uggh, I wish I could use mind link to ask where Jin is. " He sighed. Once the mates have marked each other their minds are linked. They can feel each other emotions. Sense if the other is in danger. They can talk to each other even if they are miles away.

But for them its not still possible as they have not marked each other. They will do that tomorrow in their mating ceremony.

Jungkook was about to go in another room when he heard some voices from backyard.

He went toward the backyard and saw Jin standing there facing Seo-ah.

" Jin hyung. " He called loudly.

Hearing his voice both Jin and Seo-ah both were  startled.

Seo-ah signalled something to Jin with her  eyes and Jin nodded to it understanding everything.

Meanwhile Jungkook went toward them and intertwined his hands with his mate but Jin removed his hands from Jungkook's hold instantly.

Jungkook find it strange but didn't commented on it.

" What are you guys doing? Seo-ah are you going somewhere? " Jungkook asked.

" Huh, ohh yeaa, umm I am going back to my hometown " She said nervously.

" Ahh, why though, atleast stay until our mating ceremony , why so early? Do you have some emergency? " Jungkook asked

Seo-ah internally rolled her eyes and was about to answer when

" Don't ask too many questions, that's none of your buisness , she can go whenever she want, stop being so nosy. " Jin replied instead in a rude tone

Seo-ah smirked listening to the reply whereas Jungkook was shocked. Jin never used such a rude tone on him even when he was the biggest brat.

" Jin I was just asking politely, no need to be rude. " Jungkook said.

" Exactly , and I said no need to ask too many questions, and I am not being rude you are just sensitive. "Jin replied.

" Jin but.. " Jungkook was about to say something

" Enough , Seo-ah is going back, atleast let me say her goodbye properly " Jin said.

Which led to Jungkook shut his mouth and Seo-ah smiling in victory.

" Goodbye Seo-ah, I will miss you so much. " Jin said and hugged her tightly in not so friendly way.

Jungkook frowned at that pulled Jin back from the hug .

" Geez, atleast let me hug my friend properly you oversensitive omega. " Jin scoffed and said.

" This is not the way you hug your friends Jin hyung, you are being so touchy. " Jungkook argued back .

" Is this the way you talk to your alpha huh? Learn some manners omega. " Jin said angrily.

" Jin hyung why are you acting so strange, this not how you behave. " Jungkook said.

" Oh so now this little omega will tell me how to act , you.. " Jin was about to say something when

" Jin" Seo-ah said in a warning tone.

She then looked at Jungkook and smiled sweetly
" Hehe, you see Jungkook he is just sad that i am going and maybe tired, that's why he is acting kind of strange, you won't know this, but I noticed it since I know him from childhood. We know everything about each other,we are really close." She said.

Jungkook frowned again, he was not liking the way Seo-ah talked about Jin and her friendship.

But suddenly Seo-ah hugged Jungkook and said
" I am sorry for whatever I did in the past,  let's be friends someday Jungkook, for now goodbye. "

Jungkook hugged her back hesitantly and nodded , completely unaware of the wink which Jin who was standing behind him gave  to Seo-ah  and the thumbs up she showed in return.

Soon they broke the hug and Seo-ah said her final goodbyes to them and took her leave.

" Let's go back to our room. " Jin said as if he was ordering Jungkook but the younger was lost in his thoughts , so he didn't notice the change in tone.

He was following Jin blindly inside the house thinking
" What happened to Jin hyung suddenly?

" Why is he acting so strange , he never ever addressed me as omega, he is always sweet to me.

" Why was  he acting so touchy with that Seo-ah ?Hmph.! "

" Why was Seo-ah trying to prove that her and Jin are close.

" Am I really looking too much into it , I am really being sensitive? "

His train of thoughts were broken when he bumped into Jin's back who was just standing there.

" Jin hyung, what happened? Why did you stopped suddenly.? " He asked.

" I am literally so tired right now, I forgot the direction of the room, you guide me to my bed room " Jin said.

" Strange " Jungkook thought but didn't say it loud.

He just shrugged thinking Jin was really tired.

" Okay follow me " Jungkook said and walk towards the direction of Jin's bedroom.

Soon they reached the room.

Jin went inside and laid down completely ignoring Jungkook's presence.

Jungkook ignored that too and just laid beside Jin in silence.

" Huh? Why are you sleeping beside me?" Jin asked.

" Hyung, you said you wanted to sleep with me today, did you forgot this too? " Jungkook asked confused.

" Ahh, yes, I am tired " Jin simply said.

Jungkook just shrugged and cuddled Jin and nuzzled his nose in jin's nape but he didn't got any hint of lavender scent not only that, he was again  left confused when Jin removed his arms.

" I said I am tired let me sleep freely, I don't like cuddling and you are too heavy for an omega,come on now leave me. " Jin said.

He ignored the elders statement and asked instead
" Hyung why can't I smell your scent? "

Jin  internally panicked for a second then he remembered something and said
" You ask too many questions, but look I used scent suppressant so that our enemy can't track us. "

" But..

" Enough omega, let me sleep now. " Jin said and ignored Jungkook as he already drifted to sleep.

" Something is wrong with Jin hyung, no no maybe I am Overthinking, he is just tired. Tomorrow everything will be fine it's our mating ceremony after all. And  Jin hyung even promised me earlier today that he will cook breakfast for me. So I should not worry. "  Jungkook thought and he too soon fall asleep.
