The Mysterious Side

Zoned out

As everybody finished eating Rin got the leftovers while the others weren't looking and Shana held me in one arm and the others, except Virgil, Remy, Rin, and Patton, were surprised that I haven't exploded yet. They were even more surprised that I fell asleep during breakfast while in Shana's lap. The sides, who didn't know, were almost worried but happy that I was finally 'tame', well, they thought wrong, it depends on the person that I don't explode on them, and since Shana and Rin are my lovers, I'll never explode or go off on them. "We're gonna go put K in their bed, be right back" Shana told them, still holding me, "Rin? You comin'?" With that, both of my partners started up the stairs and immediately knew that the pastel orange colored door was my room and went in. It looked mature once you walk in, but there was a secret room for when I am feeling overwhelmed or childish and only a few people know the code to get in, such as: Rin, Shana, Virgil, and Remy. After they put me into bed, Rin put the onigiri they took on the bedside table and they went back downstairs to the others who were watching a Disney movie, of course, and took the remote without them noticing and waited until a suspenseful moment came and switched the movie off. "Wha- HEY!!" Roman almost screamed, "Do you want to wake up the side with anger issues?" Shana had spoken since Rin rarely ever talks to anyone unless they trust them well enough, "N-no" Roman said softly as to not be any louder

"Anyway, Rin?" Shana turned to them "Mhm?" Rin said looking up from their phone "Could you wake up K?" Shana asked noticing that it had been almost an hour since they put me to bed "Mhm!" Rin almost ran up the stairs and to my room, wanting to see me wake up, once they got to my room they sat on the edge of the bed beside me. "Kai, it's time to get up" they said softly while shaking me to wake up "Mm.. No, 5 more minutesss..." I groan sleepily "Come on, love, please get up" they said as I was picked up, I slowly started to stir as Rin got up and started down the hall to the stairs. When we got to the stairs, I was half awake "Kai, we're going downstairs with the others"  They whispered "Ok, Rin" as I confirmed that I was alright, we started down the stairs but they put me down where the wall at the stairs started to stop and I quickly went down and ran towards Roman and Remus just to tackle them with a body slam. Virgil, Remy, and the girlfriends all burst out laughing as I was proud as I was being dragged away by Emile while Logan had his nose in his book, ignoring what just happened, then Patton and Janus went to make sure the creativity twins were alright after being body slammed onto the ground. "Are you two alright?!" Patton rushed to their side in case they're hurt "As fine as we can be, I guess.." the twins both said in unison as Janus helps Roman up as Remus does the most dramatic way to get up ever (Use your imaginations lol).

I rolled my eyes at him as I got some coffee from the kitchen and sat on the floor in front of the couch while Shana and Rin sat on either side of me and Virgil just got behind me on the couch. Logan was in the recliner while the others were on the L-shaped couch. Shana flipped through Netflix for shows to watch until she saw my favorite show, "Oh! Hey, look, it's 'The Bureau of Magical Things'!" She pointed out. "REALLY?!" Virgil and I both said in unison as Shana chuckled a bit "I bet it's boring and edgy like these two are" Roman scoffed and doubted the show before Shana spoke up "Actually I think that you'll like it, it's awfully close to a Disney show" she raised her voice to stop Roman's complaining as she clicked on the show. Now that had his attention, he decided to watch the first episode and he loved every moment of it.

It even had Logan's attention and that was surprising to everyone, eventually, Thomas had come into the mindscape with his friends, Talyn and Joan, in the middle of the 7th episode, not including the intro, "Whoa, you didn't tell us that you had more than 8 sides!" Talyn spoke softly so they didn't interrupt what we were all watching. Thomas looked at Talyn like they were crazy, "I don't have more than 7 sides, Tal, at least.. not that I know of..." Thomas doubted as he turned around. He saw way more sides than he remembers ever having. "What the hell? I only remember 7 of them?!" He said obviously to get our attention but, fuck, I've already zoned out into my own little world and my brother and both lovers had noticed that I was long gone in a sense of maturity. Virgil had spun around as quick as he could as he used a childhood language only 5 of us, including himself, know. 'Rin, Shana, grab Kai and go to their room! The rest of us will meet you there!' he spoke softly, trying not to alert me as to not trigger a panic attack. 'Got it, boss! Let's go, love!' Shana softly spoke as Rin nodded and ran off with me in their arms, Thomas and his friends looked at us rushing out of the common room in confusion. "Uh.. sorry but what was that about? Not trying to be rude..!" Talyn spoke as Joan and our host himself were too confused to form words. "Well..." He started on an excuse as we got far enough to barely hear muffled conversation in the common room, we had finally gotten just outside my room that was next to my emo brother's room and went inside and to the only untouched bookshelf. Shana walked up to the bookshelf and pushed in some books in a certain order and stepped back as it opened quietly. We quickly slipped inside and closed it behind us. After we got comfortable, we started to enjoy ourselves and cuddled in front of the TV that we had for when I'm too overwhelmed to socialize with anyone that isn't them or as we call them, Self-care nights.

~•28 minutes later•~

We heard the bookshelf open and close after a couple of people came inside, there weren't many but Rin looked over as Shana and I kept our eyes on the movie. "Hey guys! Glad you could make it!" Shana said after glancing over at the people who walked in but I feel like it was the group as they were the only people besides us three that know the code to get into the playroom.

Hey, my little readers! I'm leaving you all on another cliffhanger because I want to be done with writing this chapter... I'm currently tired after writing this, even though, it isn't that late for me. But if any of you read these A/N and can relate to me, I am a little, and currently have another little as a friend as well as some friends that act as caregivers when needed! I will always say that little space is not to be sexualized in any way and is a coping mechanism for older children and adults to reduce stress, deal with trauma, or any reason they have for being a little and I wish that the littles of the world are protected and respected as they should!
