A Talk

"Are you ready to talk about it?" I ask, sounding like a mother, he slightly nodded but still had his face in my chest, like he might cry again. After a second, I felt letters being spelled on my chest, N-I-G-H-T-M-A-R-E, "You had a nightmare, Romano?" He nodded in my chest once again, "Do you want to tell me about it or later?" "L-later please..." His voice is weak from crying, but I don't push it, so we just sit there and I get on my phone after he falls back to sleep.

Patton comes down the stairs with my emo brother behind him, they stare at me and Roman, genuinely surprised. "What up?" I don't look up from my phone, "Kiddo, you do know that he has a crush on Deciet, right?" Patton said happy but worried that having Roman on my chest would get me attacked by Janus. "Oh, I'm fully aware, Pat" I saw a person to my left, I turn but it was two people. One that I haven't seen, and Logan. "Thomas?!" Virgil chimed in and my eyes widen, 'Shit, I've been spotted..' I thought as I half cursed under my breath. "Wait, who is that and how did they get into the mindscape?!" I was too tired to do asl, so I just speak, "Chill, Thomas, I'm one of you, bro" He didn't catch what I meant by 'one of you' "I'm a side, dumbass" Thomas was surprised that I cursed and Patton seemed to almost hesitate "L-Language, Dreams!!" He made a mistake with that "English" I say looking back at my phone. "Mm..." I look at my chest to see Roman stirring "Morning, sleeping beauty" he looked at me and laid back on my chest "Mmmm..." He sleeply groaned due to the lighting being bright asf, "I know, Romano, hang in there... By the way, I'm cooking this morning" Patton stopped his journey to the kitchen, "Oh, alright then, kiddo..!" He was still angry by my smartass comment but still acted kind, which I tested. "You alright there, Pop? You look a bit annoyed, also is there still coffee in the fridge? I wanted to heat some up since I was up for a while" He got even more annoyed but tried to hide it, even Thomas was surprised, but I just put on a smartass smirk. "I'm not annoyed, kiddo! And I'll go check if there's still some!" He went to check just to get away from me, and calm his nerves. "Lol" I say just that and saw Janus coming into the living room, "Where are you coming from, J?" He looked towards me "Nonya, bitch!" He hissed at me and I finally look up from my phone towards him, "¿Qué fue eso, hijo de puta?" He regretted saying anything to me, "I-i didn't mean- I meant to say something else and it just-" "Come over here,J" I sigh "O-okay!" He came over to me cautiously "Take him, cuddle or something, I need to make breakfast.. Oh! Before I forget, Thomas! Are you staying for breakfast and do you like Japanese and Korean dishes?" " Sure I'll stay, and I guess..?" "Great!" I walk to the kitchen as they gather around to watch, "Someone go wake up Remus and tell him that I said to get his horny ass in here" Virgil ran off and you could hear him scream down the hall, "REMUS!! DREAMS SAID TO GET YOUR HORNY ASS DOWN HERE FOR BREAKFAST!!!" Everyone there laughed and I smiled since it was like the old days when that would happen every morning. When Virgil ran back, a pissed Remus came running in after him. "Remus..! Don't kill him or I will fucking end you!" He stopped immediately but then saw Thomas watching as I cooked as well as the others, "Wait- WHEN DID THOMAS GET HERE?!?" He slightly panicked "Chill, dude, he's been here since your brother woke up, if not longer" he freezes and looks around quickly and goes over to Janus and his brother, "Sup, snake boy?" "Ssstop with that nickname, would ya?" He hissed back at him "whatever! Anyway, what're you two doing??" He smirked as Janus looked over at Roman as he forgot that he was holding him "I had to take him from Dreams so that they can get breakfast ready... That's it!" Janus looked a bit sad "Did you forget?!?" Remus freaked "..forget what exactly?" Remus leaned into his ear "Dreams already has a partner! They talked about them like all the damn time!!" He whispered as quietly as he could 'Thats right! They have a partner!' Janus thought to himself "You're a dumbass, J!" I said as I finished up with the food "And why'sss that, Dreamss?" "Because you forgot that one tiny ass fact, also foods ready!" He reluctantly woke Roman up for food and headed over to the table, I had to create an extra chair for Thomas, "is everyone where they wanna sit?" "Yes!" They all say in unison as I start passing out the food, I had made some kimchi fried rice for breakfast. At first they picked at it "well?! WHAT'RE Y'ALL WAITING FOR?!? DIG IN AND LET ME KNOW IF IT'S GOOD!!!" I raised my voice and they took a bite but, of course, Virgil was already half way done with his food "Well?" They hadn't thought that it would be that good as it was my second time cooking. "Mmm!" In unison once again, they dug into their food as Virgil and I finished "Finished!" My brother and I said in unison and went to wash our dishes and the others just looked at us in shock. We grabbed a cup of our coffee and heated it up, once it was hot, we went and sat down on the couch with our coffee to talk and watch a show. Everyone finishes their food and goes to watch the show that we put on.
