After a 25 minute drive
They arrived at the arcade, usually these places were packed but there actually wasn't much people there which makes it better. The less people, the more games available to play.
Dante stepped out the car to go around to open the door for Weslyn but she got out the car before he could.
"Oh uhm...I was actually..Going to do that for you.." Dante said softly.
"It's fine, I can handle opening the door on my own, thank you" she replied then shuts it.
Dante stood looking at the arcade building then looked over at her. You could tell by his body language that he's shy around her.
Weslyn turned to him, seeing how he's acting then asked him "So are we just going to stand here or are we heading inside?"
Dante nodded and relaxed a bit "Yeah, say less. Let's kick it" he said eagerly.
Weslyn smiled to him then goes to gently hooked her arm with his and walked to head inside the building.
Once inside, the cool air hit her skin, surrounding her like a security blanket and noises from the arcade games can be heard all over the place. It made her feel like a kid again as she turned her gaze to him "Hope you have plenty of change. Because there's so much to go through"
Dante grins to her "Say less, I got you!"
Weslyn smiles back "I know you do"
The two wondered around, trying to figure out which game they could start off with. There were soooo many options to choose from.
There was Jurassic Park, space invaders, centipede, pacman and more.
They kept looking then Weslyn softly gasped and turned to him "Hey! They got Mario Kart, we could go race, unless if you're scared?" She teased with a smirk
"Me? Scared? No way, I'm the king of Mario Kart racing" Dante boasted playfully.
"Alright doll face. Show me what you got" she taunted and then tugged him by the arm, walking right to the Mario Kart arcade.
Dante got out some money to pay for the game then goes to sit down at his side while Weslyn sat at the opposite side of it.
Dante picked a character of his choice which is Donkey Kong and Weslyn picked Yoshi.
After picking their characters, they grabbed onto the steering wheel, eventually the game started and the two began racing each other.
Dante was number 4 in the race as Weslyn was 7 in the race. They drifted, turned corners and crashed into one another. There was at one point where Dante slipped onto a banana peel in the game as Weslyn laughs driving right pass his character.
