Weslyn, Dante and Darius had already bought some things they need for their celebration at the beach, snacks, drinks you name it. Even Darius has already invited a friend to attend so it's basically going to a be some beachy bonfire party.
(Beachy, I know lol 😂)
Anyway, moving on.
They were now at the beach while Weslyn and Dante trudged their way down the dunes and made it down as Darius had his hands full with the goods and all. Dante and Weslyn went ahead to set the bonfire up while Darius laid out a picnic blanket, setting down the snacks and drinks then gazed right towards the peaceful, nightly ocean view and taking in the aroma of salt water.
Soon he pulled his phone out to check the time and spoke "He should arrive here any minute now. Once he does arrive, this beach will come to life in no time"
Weslyn smiles "It will, trust me" she said with certainty.
Soon, the bonfire was officially lit up, seeing the flames grow strong, as the heat from it gently wraps around their skin. A few minutes pass by until this friend came by. Darius called out "Hey! Tyler!" Then ran over to the top of the dunes since thats where he stood.
Weslyn stopped "Tyler?..." She said tilting her head some, confused. So she got up and took a few steps closer to have a better look. At the top of the dunes, she saw Darius and that friend he invited was indeed Tyler.
'Funny.......Why is he here? He didn't have any matches....' She thought in her head.
Once Darius and Tyler came down from the dunes while Dante went over to greet Tyler. To be honest, she was glad he's here. When Tyler spotted Weslyn, he stood there awkwardly and barely made any eye contact with her.
So Weslyn went to get a drink and went over to Tyler, offering it to him. "Soo.......I guess you're free to hang out for the night, huh?"
Tyler peaked over at her "I guess so..." He said and took the drink.
"I take it that your father offered you to tag along here in frenso?"
Tyler nodded "Yeah.."
Weslyn lightly bit her bottom lip as she kept her eyes on him. "Well, I'm glad you made it here. Cause we're celebrating Dante and Darius big win tonight" she said then tugged him by his hand to get him near the bonfire to get warm.
Darius got himself a drink as did Dante and stood near the bonfire as well while Darius began.
"May I have everyone's attention please?"
Straight away, he got attention from all three Dante, Weslyn and Tyler. Darius took a deep breath and had a moment to ponder on what he wanted to say then started.
