Chapter 1

"Are you there na?" I couldn't help but rolled my eyes upon talking si Doudge on the phone. Pasakay na ako ng car namin at katawagan ko siya sa phone. It's almost four in the afternoon and the barkada planned a study out before going to class.

It's like the third week of classes and it was already hell, alright. I mean I kind of expected this since we had a lot of law subjects in LegMa, but yeah, law school is on a different level. It's a freaking different kind of animal.

"Nandito na nga. Kulit. Bilisan mo, VIP ka?"

I rolled my eyes again. Ugh Doudgeball!

"Shut up! Papunta na nga!"

"Bilisan mo, nandito crush mo," sabi niya pa tapos tumawa. Umismid lang ako. Whatever.

"I'm over him na. I have new crushes," I said to him. He just laughed at me even more.

"Blah blah whatever."

I groaned and rolled my eyes again. Oh well, I really thought that law school would be so freaking bad, but then it turned out na it's not naman pala. I got to meet constants in my first week pa lang. I had my law school buddies na which made me so happy. They're from prestigious families din. Cairish is the daughter of a famous judge, then there's the President's grandson who's so into Cairish. Kakaloka. Caile Desiderius is freaking smitten! I can see it on him from head to toe. Patay na patay kay Cai, e.

He's my schoolmate sa undergrad noon and hell, he was such a playboy kaya. Tahimik lang iyan pero matinik sa chicks and pala-party. We weren't close kasi he's always with his frat, pero ngayon he's sticking with Cai. Such a loverboy, gosh. Super halata pa! Then there's Doudge, Merian and Blake. From big families din sila. Merian's a Fermin and Doudge's a Legaspi. Merian's BF is the newly awarded hottest bachelor in town and Doudge's girl is a freaking supermodel. That douche. Nakabingwit pa talaga ng super chic na girl, ha. Blake, on the other hand, is in Politics din. His father is a friend of Dad's

Aside from they're fun and they're from big families, they all have love lives. Hmp. Ako lang iyong single! Si Blake kasi alam ko may secret boyfie. Kakaloka. Kaya ako pinagtitrip-an ni Doudge, e. But hey, they're the only thing in law school that doesn't piss me off, ha. They're my rest and my constants and I'm just so glad to meet them. If not for them naman I think I wouldn't be able to survive this or more like I will not like it at all talaga. So, it's really thanks to them that I stayed. Gosh.

I sighed and leaned on the back of the couch. I closed my eyes and waited for us to arrive na lang. Manila traffic was hell kaya it took me an hour yata bago ako dumating sa usual meeting place namin ng barkada which is tapat lang naman ng Clarke University.

Cairish sent a photo on our viber group na. I let out a laugh when I saw Doudge being an idiot. this guy is like a seven years old kid stuck in a 23 years old's body. Kaloka siya. He's serious naman in class, he's just really so magulo outside. I shook my head and headed to the tambayan na. Hindi naman ako nahirapang hanapin sila kasi ang ingay ng table nila.

"Hello there, kamahalan." Doudge smirked. Tinampal ko siya sa braso.

"Move nga," sabi ko pa at inirapan ako ng loko. I settled beside Doudge and started getting my things na rin. My friends were so focused with what they were doing, so nag-concentrate na lang din ako.

I got my codal and my cases because I'm gonna be highlighting. Gosh, I love highlighting! It's like a therapy kasi super fun ng pag-color. Gosh.

"I'll order something, gusto niyo?" Cairish stood.

"Get me a frappe, Cai, please?" I said and made pa-cute pa. She rolled her eyes and nodded. I watched Des stand, too, and followed her to the counter.

I rolled my eyes and just shook my head. Itong love birds na ito! Hmp! Nabi-bitter ako pag nakikita ko silang sweet, TBH. It's so not Des! I mean, duhh, I'm batchmates with Caile Desiderius ever since first year college, so I know his moves towards girls, no. He changes girls like he was changing his underwear before. Nag-tone down lang noong graduating kami but really, he was a playboy, so I was so shocked when I knew na he's making porma to Cairish.
