Chapter 7

“Tulala ka na naman.” I immediately looked at Doudge who was still teasing me. Nandito kami ngayon sa bench ng Clarke. We were waiting for our class to start. Supposed to be kanina pa kami pupunta sa classroom, but na badtrip ako kaya nag-aya akong dito na lang muna kami.

“Huwag mo na ngang asarin,” I heard Merian said pa. Doudge, being a jerk, laughed out loud. Mas sumama ang tingin ko sa kanya agad na nagtaas siya ng dalawang kamay. I rolled my eyes and shook my head. I sighed and crossed my arms as I looked at the vast field in front of us.

Damn in, why am I so affected. Ugh naiinis na rin ako sa self ko, e.

“Ano ba kasing nangyari at na-badtrip ka na naman?” Merian asked. Ngumuso ako at uminom na lang sa aking hawak na frappe. Ughh super kakainis talaga. Hmp. I don’t understand myself na rin, e. “Hoy.” Kinalabit ako ni Merian. I just pouted again and didn’t answer her still. I don’t think I have the guts to tell Merian the truth.

Gosh, Leanna Rhaia. I kept quiet and continued drinking my frappe na lang. Hindi na rin naman niya ako kinulit doon. We stayed there for almost an hour hanggang sa maubos ko iyong frappe ko. After that, we went to our room na rin. I tried so hard not to look at Sancho, Ysabelle or any of their friends kasi I would just be reminded of that incident. Hmp.

I focused on our class lang. Hindi na ako nag-abala pang maki-chismis ang all kasi feeling ko maiinis lang ako pag nakita ko sila. I don’t want to feel what I felt earlier no. I didn’t even look at them when they were called for recit. Hmp.

“Kafagod mga mie,” I heard Blake said pa when we were dismissed. Cairish was yawning while Des was embracing her from the side. If you’re with this couple talaga, you would always feel inggit. Hello, single here.

I made a face and crossed my arms na lang. “Where should we go? We should unwind, you know,” I opened up. Lahat sila nagtinginan sa akin.

“May balak ka pang lumabas? It’s exhausting, Rhai,” Merian said. I shrugged. Yeah, I know naman, but a coffee won’t hurt naman siguro.

“Coffee lang. I want to distress.” I made a face. Doudge then smirked.

“The Ledge,” the brute said. I arched my brow.

“Are you being serious? Bar talaga? Like hello!” I rolled my eyes. He just laughed at me.

“Nag-invite and frat. Right, Des?” We all turned to Desiderius. Cairish was looking at him, too, as if waiting for his answer. Des just shook his head.

“Not going, Doudge,” sabi pa ni Des. Doudge groaned.

“Come on,” he said pa, as if he was begging Des to agree pero Des was firm na hindi pumunta kasi ihahatid niya si Cairish. Hindi naman siya binabawalan ni Cai, it’s just that Des didn’t want to and mas bet ni Desiderius to be with Cairish lang. So haba ng hair ni Cairish Flem talaga, gosh.

“Kayo? Come on, Rhai, Blake, tara!” Doudge went up to me and umakbay pa ang loko sa akin. I rolled my eyes again.

“Hmm… pag-isipan ko,” Blake said pa pero nakangisi naman. I shook my head. It was Merian who walked away first.

“Una na ako, Danniel’s outside the school already,” she said. We followed her na rin.

“We’ll go ahead na rin, guys,” Cairish said and hinila na rin niya si Des. I rolled my eyes and shook my head again. Oh well.

“Ano, tayo na lang ni Blake,” Doudge said pa. Inirapan ko siya.

“Ay wait, parang bet ko!” si Blake who screeched pa. I gasped and looked at the bitch.
