Matteo swallowed down a lump in his throat.
"What should we do, Adrian?" he asked, folding his arms seriously. "She's seen everything. Fuck knows what she could do with the information she has."
"We deal with her," I spewed.
"So we kill her too?" Matteo asked.
I widened my eyes, blood pounding throughout my body.
"But you know the Cosa Nostra rules, man..." Matteo murmured. "She's a woman. We're not supposed to kill women... And we're not supposed to kill children."
I let out a low growl.
This was so fucked-up.
"You don't know what she'll do if we don't deal with her, Matteo," I gritted through clenched teeth.
Even though I knew that I didn't want to kill her at all.
I wouldn't be able to bring myself to do it.
"So what do we do?" Matteo swallowed.
"We kidnap her," I stated matter-of-factly. "Take her under our own wing. It's the only option left."
Matteo sighed, exasperated.
"What the fuck are we going to do with her? Keeping her in our house, under our wing? I don't like that at all," he hissed. "She's collateral damage that we don't fucking need."
