For as you can remember you always has something against Tighnari for one reason or another. If it was the people he hung out with, the jokes he made, the way he acted, everything about him just annoyed you. You've hated him since 8th grade. Which was 10 years ago. You both graduated college already and you still hate him. You graduated together too. You just hated seeing him, hating being near him, you just hated his guts, and what were the odds that both you and him work at the same company.

PRESENT DAY

You were in a pretty good mood this morning, talking to your co-workers and such before you had to to work. But as soon as you were happy the worst thing could have happened. "Hey y/n! How's it going!" Tighnari said giggling. He thought it was funny that you still hate him after 10 years. He never hated you, you just hate him. You sigh very angrily. "Pretty good until you showed up," you said with an annoyed tone before walking away. He was laughing with some co-workers and you just wanted to leave. You walked away and sat down face palming "I know. He's such a pain to deal with." A voice said. You jumped by the sudden voice. "Jesus Christ Cyno you scared the hoe outta me." You said trying to calm down "Sorry bout that." He said awkwardly smiling, "Well, if he ever bothers you again, let me know and I'll give him a good ass kick." Cyno said with a soft smile before walking away. You went back to the world in your head, without Tighnari.

The whole day you were avoiding Tighnari as much as humanly possible. You didn't know how people actually get along with a person like him. You just focused on your work and not what's happening with Tighnari. The day ended and you were so ready to leave and get away from Tighnari. As you were packing up your stuff a certain someone comes up to you. You were too tired to deal with his bullshit. But you listened. "Say y/n, even after 10 whole years you still hold a grudge against me, why is that?" He questioned. You spotted his friends around the corner so he definitely just wanted to fuck with you. "Because you're annoying, unfunny, hard to get along with and overall an asshole and plus you haven't changed a bit from middle school. Middle school Tighnari. Not even high school. Middle school!" You said in response to his question. You packed up your stuff as you saw Tighnari go over to his friends. You put your headphones in and put your music on full blast.

The next few days were pretty much the same as always. Tighnari bugging you and you just wanting him to go away and let you work. It was annoying, having Tighnari be the one there but the company was nice. It was easier to get things done. Maybe he wasn't as bad as you thought.

After a week or two of being with you at work you saw changes in Tighnari, positive changes. He was starting to actually be a decent person. He started helping you with your work or tasks. He still hung out with people you disproved of but that's his life and you guys weren't even friends. This had been going on for a while and you questioned everyday why he was being so nice to you. "Was it to make it up to me? But he didn't do anything to me." You thought. You speculated something was up.

You decided to call your best friend Nilou to talk about it with her. She knows about your relationship with him so you knew she was the right person to talk too. You could trust her with everything. You call her and she picks up almost immediately. "Hey y/n! What's up?" "Nilou!! I'm so glad you picked up!" See I really have to talk to you, can I just rant to you for a bit?" You ask. "Sure. I'm your best friend, of course you can!" She replied. "Oh my god thank you so much! Okay so..." You explain everything to her. About how Tighnari started being nice to you and how you think there's something going on. "So that was a lot of information you just dropped on me." Nilou replied with a giggle. "Yes I know I'm sorry but I really need some advice. Like what do I do? Does he like me? Is that why he's being nice to me? I just don't know!" You tell Nilou while pacing back and forth in your room. "Uhm... well..." she didn't give a reply. "Give me sometime to think and I'll call you back asap, okay?" "Alright but make it quick!" She hung up. You just sat on your bed thinking about what's been happening.

The next few days were no different, Tighnari being nice and you just waiting for Nilou to respond to you. It was really hard just waiting.

You finally got a response from Nilou about a week later. "NILOU!! FINALLY!!" You answered the phone with. "I'm sorry it's been so long y/n! I've been super busy! Anyway I did some thinking and some digging around and found out something that you're not gonna like..." she answered "Tighnari well, he..." she continued "he what?!" You cut her off. You needed to get to the bottom of this. "He likes you.." Nilou finished. You didn't have a response. Literally just nothing. You suspected this would happen but this was so cliché. "Very funny Nilou. What's actually happening?" You say thinking it's just a prank. "I'm being serious here y/n, I'd never lie to you like that." "Oh... well uhh... thanks I guess? I'll call you back." You hung up. You literally just didn't know what to do. This was a shock honestly. Very cliched but seriously? I mean people can change so I guess he's not too bad but still you didn't know what to do.

The next few days were awkward since that information was dropped on you. You just didn't know what to do now.

On fateful Thursday afternoon, you were on your way to give some papers to one of your coworkers. They worked on a very quiet side of the building. Usually they were the only one there. Tighnari just so happened to be there "oh great..." you thought. But this was different. He was talking to you not like a coworker but as a friend. You enjoyed this but something felt off, off in a good way. You guys kind of just stopped and just talked for a while. No one was with you, it was just you and him and the sounds of the outside. Eventually Tighnari grabbed your hands, pushed you up against the wall and kissed you. It was out of no where and you had no time to process it. Eventually you kissed back and for a few seconds you two were just like this. You enjoyed every moment. When he finally pulled away he just winked and smiled at you while walking away. You were just in absolute shock. "What in the name of archons just happened?" You gathered yourself back together and continued on with your day but it wasn't the same after that. It was the only thing on your mind all week.

You and Tighnari eventually started dating.
