'oh great, a storm...' you thought to yourself. In all honesty, you hated storms, thunderstorms. They're loud and scary. You quickly rush home as to not get caught in the storm. You sigh as you step in the door. Your boyfriend, Tighnari seems to not be home yet.
A few hours go by and the storm really picks up. The rain getting heavier and a few lightning strikes. Tighnari just making it home, soaked. "Really bad storm we're getting huh?" he says, shaking is tail trying to dry it. You were just about to nod your head in agreement, until thunder struck, loudly. You quickly cover your ears as your breath hitched. The thunder shocked you. "Hey hey hey, you okay?" Tighnari quickly rushing over to you, taking off his soaked gloves and throwing them aside to grab your hands. You sigh trying to slow your breathing down a bit. "I- i'm okay." You say, moving your hands away from your ears. "Are you sure? You don't look okay." Tighnari pulls your face up to look at him from your chin. You certainly didn't look okay, you were noticeably shaken up. "No no, don't worry Tighnari I'm okay." you reassure him. But just when you thought it was okay, another loud clap of thunder. You quickly cover your ears once again. Tighnari grabs your hands with a light squeeze. "You're definitely not okay. You scared of loud noises?" You look away slightly embarrassed. You've always told you were being dramatic because you're scared of loud noises. Whenever there was a loud noise, you'd jump and try to escape, but you can't really escape a thunderstorm. "It's alright, don't worry." He lightly squeezes your hands again as he sits down next to you.
"You know, my parents said this to me when i was younger, the thunder is just the Archons bowling. The louder the thunder, the more pins they knocked down. I also used to be scared of loud noises." He giggles a bit with a smile. In return you smile as well. It was a cute saying. "That makes me feel a bit better, putting it that way." You return the giggle. He smiles and kisses your forehead.
Thunder never really bothered after that. Here and there it would be a bit scary but Tighnari was always there to help you and calm you down.

HELLO AGAIN! That saying was an actual thing i was taught. When i was little thunder used to scare the shit outta me so someone taught me that thunder was just angels bowling, so i made this since i remember it. i hope you enjoyed this chapter!!
