The room was quiet except for your whispered sobs.
You felt betrayed by the one person that probably has the authority and power to save your daughter.
But chose not to do anything.
At this point you didn't even care if you died.
You just want your daughter to live.
Your life is meaningless compared to your daughter's and you can't STAND the idea of outliving your baby.
If her father won't save her then you will.
Because its always been you and your daughter.
And it always will be.
"Kill them."
"NO!"
You shouted as you struggled against his men's hold on you.
You didn't even care if your shoulder hurted each time you thrashed.
You just wanted to keep Doku from sending his men to kill your precious baby.
Doku- "Keep her still dammit!"
"She's fucking strong boss!"
Doku- "Oh yeah?"
*CLICK*
Doku says as he pulls the hammer back on his gun and walks up to you.
Doku- "Then I'll MAKE her stay still..."
You looked up at him with angry/pleading eyes.
You- "Doku please! Kill me in her place!"
Doku raises an eyebrow at you.
You- "Please spare my daughter....She has no part in this...if you're going to kill someone then please kill me..."
Doku looks at your crying form with no expression.
He then slowly approaches you and presses the barrel of the gun to your forehead.
Doku- "I can kill you....Right here....Right now....and sell your fucking corpse.....But what makes you think I'll let your daughter off the hook?....and even so....she'll be all alone in this fucking world....no mom...no dad....nothing...so what's the fucking point of letting a child live if she'll probably end up like YOU....you have NO family....Because you chose to keep your fucking mistake instead of correcting it...."
His words hurt.
You were angry.
Yet saddened.
You started remembering the BAD times you've had raising your daughter.
She doesn't remember any of it because she was just a baby.
But you.
It is forever carved into your skull.
Those times where your postpartum made you wonder if you even deserved to be Yuri's mother.
Because you couldn't buy the toys she wanted.
Or how you struggled to find work because you were young and weak.
You even thought at one point that you were a burden to your neighbor because you felt completely useless.
Like your existence meant absolutely nothing.
And when you did get a job and moved into your own apartment.
It was awful.
You barely had enough to keep up with the rent and to pay for groceries.
But the food mostly went to your daughter.
