"Alright children! Single file line and no pushing or shoving!"

All the children line up and wait for the school gate to open.

You waited along with the other parents for Yuri to come out.

As much as you would rather be in bed, recovering, you aren't missing out on the ice cream trip with Ran and Yuri.

"Mama!!"

You smile big as you watched Yuri run up to you.

You got down on your knees so you could be at her level for when she wraps her arms around you.

Yuri- "Hi mama!"

You- "Hi baby, how was school?"

Yuri- "Good! Is it ice cream time?"

You chuckled a bit.

Of course she's excited for that..

You- "Yes it is, we just gotta walk back to the car."

Yuri smiles and nods rapidly.

You smile then take her backpack off her shoulders and hold her hand to lead her back to the car.

You had asked Ran if he could park the car a bit further away just so you have time to talk to her.

But you realized it was only easy to say in your head.

Because as you tried to speak up.

You couldn't.

Your worries still linger in your head so you ended up choking.

But you can't stay quiet forever.

You took a deep breath as you readied yourself to tell Yuri the truth.

And you wanted to do it before you see the car and end up choking again.

You- "Um.....Yuri?...."

Yuri- "Yes Mama?"

Yuri turns her head to look up at you so she could give her full attention to you.

Oh god...

Seeing Yuri's eyes look up at you just made you want to back out.

You didn't want to see her little eyes turn angry or sad when she hears that you've lied to her.

But you can't back out.

Its been 3 months and you can't wait any longer.

Its not fair for Yuri and its not fair for Ran...

Especially after the conversation you had with Ran before you left his place.

You suddenly stopped walking and gestured Yuri to sit on a bench so you could kneel in front of her.

You- "I just...."

You- "I just....."

You- "I just I want you to know that I love you very much....And I would never hurt you on purpose..."
