Crouching with her hands over her ears, she stared at the ground, her knees shaking. That's how powerful the scream was. Through her peripheral vision, Koralee saw a women laying on her back spazzing on the ground. The ladys hand were clutched onto her ears but Koralee was close enough to see blood oozing through her fingers. Noticing this, Koralee stared at the women as she bunched her shoulders and legs into a ball, her red dress stretching across her back.
She was screaming. This lady was the one screaming.
She was balling, blood streaming down her face and falling onto Koralee's mothers favorite carpet for the celebration of New Years Eve. Standing up with great effort she walked towards the lady, trying her best to ignore the screams emitting out of her, surprisingly, tooth fanged mouth.
Feet next to the screaming lady's arms, she kneeled in front of the lady. Taking a pillow from the nearby couch Koralee shoved it in the screaming lady's face, temporarily stopping the noise from bursting anymore eardrums. The lady then buried her face in the pillow sobbing, her blood filled tears staining the beautiful pale blue fabric a dark red. She stared at the lady confused and, very slightly...
awestruck.
Her spine was beginning to bulge its way to her skin, so much that she could see it outlining the back of her dress. Koralee saw the painstakingly tearing of flesh and the blood splattering across her own face and many others whose faces had paled at the sight.
A layered spear of bones erupted from her back, dark red smudging the paleness of its surface. The bones flapped open creating a motion similar to a bird opening it wings. Black veins began to crawl onto the pale bone at a rapid pace, connecting the now open once-layered wings together.
The lady stood up in her full glory, her red dress seeming to slither down her body whipping and lashing out in the wind behind her even though no door or window was open. Now that she stood, her appearance was for all to see.
Black pitiless eyes stared behind Koralee as a wicked grin stretched along her face so wide, that it seemed painful with her many perfectly aligned sharp teeth. Rusty brown short hair flew around her head in a wild like manner. Her now black leathery like wings had spread open, revealing just how huge they were, towering above her and dragging onto the ground as the lady walked towards her glancing at Koralee. The lady was confused.
She had sensed something... Something off from the girl. From Koralee.
Choosing to ignore it she walked on, past Koralee and instead went to the person behind her saying with a voice that Koralee knew wasn't natural,
"You owe my Master something Xreno and you've delayed it long enough. A little word of advice: Master doesn't wait."
Koralee had turned around just in time to see the demon like lady stab him repeatedly... With her hands.
It was only then did Koralee realized...
That man was her father. All Koralee saw then,
Was
Red.A headache had suddenly crashed into her head, Koralee's vision being covered by the darkness, only hearing the many screams surrounding her...
And the smash of glass.
----
Opening her eyes, Koralee was blinded by the extremely bright light surrounding her. Blinking wearily she stood up, slightly woozy and held a tree next to her for support.Wait a minute.
Looking around her surroundings, all she saw was green.
Green bushes, green grass, trees and a lake.
She wasn't at the party.
It wasn't nighttime.
And what shocked her the most?
The big scratch marks on the tree that she was hugging for dear life or...
The fact that the lady from before with her wicked smile and huge wings was lying next to the lake on its shore, her hair now no longer on her scalp, face pale against the brown damp dirt framing her face.
With a big hole in her chest.
