Chapter 30 UNDERSTANDING

Pete's Pov

While we were eating I'm still wondering why Vegas wants to talk something.

"Pete"

Im overthinking again what if he would marrying that girl and decided to leave us.

"Pete"

No no Pete, pull yourself together don't overthink too much maybe Vegas has something important more to say.

"Pete!!! What are you thinking?"

While I'm overthinking i didn't know that  Vegas is calling me for 3 time now  and i startled to his voice.

" Ummm nothing i was out spacing I'm just thinking something" 

"Okay, btw Pete let's talk later alright?"

"Yes, lets eat first"

"But Pete its has good new and bad news and i hope you understand me."

I didn't answer him since why he's like telling me that he has something did that i didn't like.

We just ate and passed later were done eating i was about to put the dishes in the counter but Vegas grab my plates.

"Im the one who wash this plates so seat there (while pointing at the sofa) and chill my Pete."

"But we—e" he cut me already of what im trying to say.

"No but's just let me, will you?" He said while pouting his lips on me.

"Hmm okay okay don't use your charm on me Vegas."

"iloveyou my Pete"

"Iloveyoutoo, just do what you want Im gonna wait in the garden with Venice, do it nicely Vegas wash the plates gently don't let the plates be broken or i will gonna break your bones instead okay???"

"Aiiii Pete!!! Hmmm go Im gonna end this faster"

While on my way to the garden i cant stop laughing at Vegas cuteness.

Vegas was a manly man and has intense obsession and always grumpy so its so rare to see him like this being cute and clingy.

I cant imagine that the Vegas i known before is not the Vegas I'm with now he's really matured right now.

The fact that he accept our baby Venice without hesitations and questioning  on how did Venice existence as our biological son.

He treated Venice at the first place with a pure love and care.

So what may comes the problem for us i will always understand Vegas like how he understand me in every aspect in my life and to Venice growing.

Minutes passed later i heard a foot step near to our direction and a couple of seconds i sense Vegas presence at my back and second had passed he back hug me and kiss me in my cheeks.

"Vegas your son is with us" i said while beating his chest slightly.

"I just want to kiss you Pete, i missed you so much" Vegas said and steal a pecked in Pete cheeks again and run to his son.

"Ayyy Vegas, let's go, i taught you have something to tell me?"  Pete asking while looking at Vegas kissing Venice cheeks.

"Oh right, you should go first upstair Pete, i will gonna give Venice to his nanny and i will follow you."

Pete followed what Vegas said, while Vegas was walking around with his son.

Vegas feel stressed and tensed because he's nervous about his planned and proposal, he was taking all the courage to tell Pete what he really want to do.

After he guide Venice he followed Pete upstair and he finally open the door with his full of courage to talk to Pete.

After opening the door he saw his beautiful and good looking soon to be wife (or husband) seating at the bed, he sat besides Pete before he talked.

"Pete, first i hope you will understand me to what planned i came up, i really don't know what I'm gonna do, that's why i came up to this  planned" Vegas sighed.

"What planned are you talking about Vegas?" Pete asking Vegas with a questionable reaction.

"Do you remembered what i said back then, that my father is after to your assets and company?"

"Pete i don't want to take you and Venice at risk thats i why i came up to a planned"

"What planned Vegas? And why does your father after to our company? Does he have any conscience"

"I don't like my father either Pete, and i know my father well he will do anything to get what he wants and i don't want you and Venice to be his target, that why i came to a planned that i will gonna marry you, and i tell my dad to used and to lie to to you until i get your asset" Vegas sighed and put his palm to his forehead because of stress and embarrassment to his planned. 

"Are you out of your mind Vegas? Do you really need to used me? To make your father proud of you?" Pete said in a bit of shouting.

"No Pete, its not what you think" he get closed to Pete to hug him.

"Then what do you mean Vegas? What its all that planned for?" He pushed Vegas chest to break their hug "what do you think of me? Tools to get what i have for, to used to your benefits?" Pete said in the verge of crying.

"Its not like that Pete, just listen to me first okay? Please listen to me, i did all of this just to protect you both, for the mean time this is all i want to tell you please just understand me Pete please." He said while crying and begging for Pete.

"I will understand you Vegas for the second time i will give you a seconds chance, please don't disappoint me please." Pete said and hug Vegas then wiped his tears.

"I will never gonna wasted this chance you gave this time, just please trust me my love, i will protect you and Venice."

Vegas kissed Pete in forehead and hug Pete tightly.
