It was already 8 by the time I finished talking to Andre so I decided to just get up, make coffee, and get ready for English. When I got to my class room there way a note on the door. It read,

Hello Students!

I am deeply disappointed that I can't be in class today. My mother is in the hospital. Your course syllabus can be picked up in the English department office. Please check my website as there is a pre-test I would like you all to take. Don't bother cheating on it. I will only be grading it based on completion. Sorry about class today, but on the bright side you can all go back to sleep! Have a nice rest of your week.

Professor Weatherington

I walked over to the English off to pick up my syllabus and then I went home to do just as her note said and go back to sleep. I woke up three hours later and headed to Journalism. Much to my delight, Chase was sitting in the front row. I took a seat next to him.

"Hey stranger." I tapped his shoulder. He turned and looked at me. He looked sad. I knew him well enough already to know when he was upset, but he looked at me with a big grin and said, "Hey you!" So I decided not to ask him about it.

"So what exactly are you majoring in that I get the pleasure of seeing you in two classes?"

"Film Journalism. I'd love to one day make documentaries that win academy awards."

"That's awesome!"

"What about you, Tati?"

"Photography Journalism. Maybe one day I'll shoot the cover of your award winning documentary." I joked. Chase laughed just as the professor was walking in. The two of us made side comments all through class, and it went by very quickly. After, I went home to Skype with Dre. He didn't answer though. I sighed.

The temperature was dropping quickly as the days went by. Halloween was next weekend and I couldn't wait! Emily and I were going costume shopping tomorrow for this big party Chase invited us to. I just got home from calculus and I had the biggest fucking head ache, but Chase was coming over to help me study. It turned out that he was amazing at math and I never went to study group. He helped me with my calculus and I helped him with English. Everybody wins.

"Tatianna?" I heard him call. I had told him earlier that the door was unlocked and just to come inside.

"Bedroom." I groaned. I heard him come up the steps.

"You good girl?" He sat down on the edge of my bed.

"Headache." I whined.

"You act like a baby when you don't fell well." He chuckled.

"Meh." I whined again. My iPad started ringing and I jumped out of bed.

"Hey baby!" I answered.

"Hello angel." He smiled.

"I miss you so much!"

"I miss you more!" Dre promised. Chase tapped my shoulder.

"Tati, I can come back later if you want. We can work this evening?" He whispered.

"Oh my goodness! I'm so rude. Chase this is my boyfriend Andre. Dre, baby, this is my friend Chase; we have some classes together."

"Hey man. I've heard a lot about you. Good to meet you." Chase smiled at the screen, but Andre didn't say anything. It was really awkward. "OK well...I'm gonna head out Tatianna. Let's meet up for dinner. This essay is in desperate need of some proof reading."
