Dylan assigned Tatianna and I to meet Nico Armani. This was going to be a rough meeting. Nico contacted us yesterday after he saw the ad in the Sunday paper. So today after school we were going to embark on a 3 and a half hour journey to some scary ass warehouse to see an arms dealer. Smart, I know. I waited for Tati outside the gymnastics gym. We haven't talked in three days. Well actually I haven't answered her in three days.

"Hey baby." She smiled wide.

"Hi Tatianna." I replied coldly. Her smiled fell. I'm still mad at her.

"So are you ready for this?" She asked still trying to make conversation.

"Yeah. Go get changed and meet me at the car." I dismissed. I pretended not to notice the hurt flash through her eyes. Tati left for the locker room and I headed to the car. After about ten minutes she joined me with a full face of makeup on. I was shocked. She almost never wore make up; with the exception of mascara and lipstick on special occasions. The air in the car was thick with tension. I wasn't gonna break the silence. If Tatianna wanted to talk to me she wouldn't move away. I am being irrational and I know it but I don't give a fucking fuck. Tatianna reached for the radio and messed with the stations for a few minutes. She settled on a regular R&B station.

"Next up we have How To Love by Lil Wayne." The DJ announced. I have never seen a hand move so fast but Tatianna shut the radio off before I could even say radio.

"Sorry." She mumbled. I just shrugged back in response. "Are you just not going to talk to me?"

"I don't know. I didn't think you talked to regular guys." I snapped. That was it for her she just looked away from me and then I heard small sniffles. Shit!

"I'm sorry." She whispered.

"Maybe I'm being hard on you but you don't even know how hard this is on me." I justified.

"Did you ever stop to think about how I feel? This is hard on me! You are staying here and going to WSU with all of your friends in a familiar place. I'm moving across the country to go to a school where everyone is a stranger. Not to mention the fact that I'll be less than two hours away from my dad!" Tatianna explained.

"Think about how I feel! The only girl I've ever loved is going to go 3000 miles away and may never come back."

"If you love me like I think you do, 3000 miles shouldn't mean a thing."

"If you love me like I think you do, you will not leave!" I fired back.

"Come on Andre! You know it's not like that! We could do it!"

"No we couldn't! I can not do long distance."

"It'd be like Africa, but just for a little longer." Tatianna said desperately.

"Yeah because you going to Africa worked out so well didn't it?"

"Yeah it worked out beautifully. I came back and found out that the boys I loved put his dick in another girl!"

"Exactly! So what possesses you to think that we could make it four years!?"

"I didn't think that you would ever do that to me again, but clearly that was a mistake. I'm sorry that I thought you could change." Tati looked out the window and didn't say another word for the remainder of the ride. When we were almost to the warehouse I woke her up.

"Were almost there." I grumbled. Tatianna didn't reply she just pulled a small bag out of her purse and fixed her make up. Why the hell did she have all that she on her face? I pulled into the lot and just as we were about to get out of the car. Dozens of little lasers hit the car. Lasers mean guns. Shit!
