What needed to be done

"So, what did you request of me, your Majesty?" Kaili inquired politely.

"I need you to kill for me again."

Kaili blinked twice and began to think. Again? Didn't we just agree to kill Uta and call it a day? Why would he want more?

Aziel sighed as he looked at Kaili. "Kaili, I know what you're thinking! Why, again? Did I not do enough? And I am aware! I know how bad I sound, but you must listen!" He smacked his hand on the table. "I need these people to be gone as soon as possible , or my people are threatened. I know, I know, why me? You probably ask. And it's simple. You're my hope."

Hope?

"Hope. When I first heard about you , I was furious you didn't come to me sooner! This empire's problems would have been solved if I knew about you! And now I do. And I thought why not get the help I need from the only person I know can help? Your power is incredible. It's truly one of the most impressive and efficient ones I've heard of. You have the power to kill on command. That's incredible! It could help me get rid of my enemies way faster! Do you know how many threats we receive every day from enemy empires? This fear of war my citizens have every day  can be solved by just , getting rid of the threat. And you can do that. All I need is for you to come with me to future wars and get rid of the people in charge of the army. The leaders. The directors. I need you to come with me and get rid of them. I can't exactly host a meeting with the emperors anymore, as that plan was once used so now the enemy emperors won't agree to have the same fate, sadly.  So what do you think , will you help me destroy enemies of Crete?"
Kaili took deep breaths listening to all of this and tried to grasp what is being asked from her. She gathered her thoughts quickly and opened her mouth.
"Will Daphne receive the funding for her plan if I do accept the offer?"
"Why, yes, if that's what you're worried about. Daphne will receive her funding as soon as all enemies are eliminated and I can live in peace knowing my people are safe."
"Yes... Yes I see. And I will be taught how to work with portals?"
"Yes , that too will happen."
"Sounds fair. Fine , I will help you."
"Yippee! I'm so happy!" He stood up from his chair and dashed to hug Kaili. Kaili accepted the hug, but since Aziel's hands were still stained with blood she was hesitant."
"Oh also , what happened to that guy earlier?" Kaili asked.
"Don't worry about it!" He smiled.

"SAY WHAT?" Omar shouted and grabbed Kaili by her braids, pulling her close. "You agreed to become a killing machine for his fucking war plans? ARE YE SERIOUS?!"
"I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO I'M SORRY , ALL I WANT IS TO SEE MY MOM AND LET DAPHNE HAVE A FUTURE IN BEING AN INVENTOR!" Kaili responded yelling back at her, scared of Omar's intimidating voice.
"You fucked up big time Kaili. You really did" Omar pinched the bridge of her nose and closed her eyes shut , quite mad.
"A-Aw you remembered my name!" Kaili said nervously.
"Is this what you're focusing on right now? No , you shouldn't do this Kaili."
"I already said yes! If I tell him no now I'll disappoint him and mr.Myron told me to not disappoint Aziel! What would that mean for Daphne's future? What would happen if I disappointed him?"
"I don't know , he'd cry or something , I don't care." Omar murmured.
Daphne got in the middle of the two women and slowly pushed them away from eachother.
"It's okay Omar! She will be fine I trust her...!"
"Sure but she's gonna turn into some blood hungry warrior in the end."

"I heard yelling" Myron walked out of the castle and spotted the three women looking kind of tense. "You guys shouldn't discuss this out here."
"But did you HEAR her? She said yes and didn't even think about it!"
"I did think about it! For a minute! It was enough!"Kaili yelled back at Omar.
"Ladies. It is Kaili's choice. Do not influence her otherwise. Plus she already decided and it's too late. The only thing you can do is accept it now." Myron raised his shoulders and leaned towards the door. His movements kind of resembled Omar's. They really were siblings.
"He's right" Said Daphne.
"I guess" Said Omar.
Kaili bowed at Myron,
"Thank you for understanding sir! You're such a nice person."
"I'm just saying. Now go home. Quit bothering with your yelling."
And thus they all went home. And Myron went back inside the castle.
