The Call (Part 21)

"Oh.. I forgot about you." Zoro said to the poor transponder snail. It has been in his pocket since the day you guys reunited. The snail scoffs and looks over at you. It began to ring again as it almost fumbles out of Zoro's hands. Zoro quickly answers it to see who it was. "Zoro you left one of your headbands here." A low voice said over the line. The person didn't even greet him, they just started talking.

How odd..

Zoro let out a sigh and placed the snail on the table. "Oh.. I'll come by sometime and grab it." Zoro answered back while sitting at the dinner table next to you. "Who is that?" You mouth out to him as he looks over at you. "It's Mihawk." He answered not even caring if Mihawk is on the call.

"Hm? Yes it's me Mihawk.." Mihawk said not knowing you exist. "Oh, I'm talking to Y/n." Zoro explained while eating another takoyaiki. "Oh, is it that girl you talked non-stop about? Isn't she your wi-" Zoro cut Mihawk off by laughing awkwardly and dramatically. He laughed so loud all you could hear was Mihawk mumble.

"What was he about to say?" You ask as he covers the snails mouth aggressively. "Oh, uh that I talked about us from when we used to hang out at the dojo.." Zoro clearly lied making you giggle. "W-What..?" Zoro asked while watching you scoot closer to him. "Nothing! Continue your talk with Mr. Mihawk." You say with a smile.

He slowly nods and moves his hand away from the snail. "Is that all you needed Mihawk?" Zoro asked while looking over at you. "No, Perona wanted to ask you something." Mihawk said before random noises could be heard from the other side. "ZORO!!" A females voice yelled.

You and Zoro both covered up your ears in pain. "God Perona! What the hell do you need?" Zoro asked clearly annoyed. "You dumb samurai! You never call anymore!!!" She complained. It sounded like a 10 year old. "Zoro do you have a little sister?" You ask as he gives you a disgusted glare. "This annoying women is not my sister. I don't have any siblings." Zoro said while leaning back in his chair a bit. "Oh?" You ask again causing Perona to hear as well.

"I lived with him and Mihawk!" She explained with her squeaky voice. "Oh! That makes much more sense." You answer while munching on some more takoyaiki. "I've heard a lot about you! He said that you had a big forehead!" She exclaimed causing Zoro to fall out of his chair. "W-What..?" You ask clearly shocked and also angered. A large pumping vein could be scene on your forehead. "Y-Y/n, I-I did not say that.." Zoro slowly sat up on the ground.

You got up from your chair and slowly started to walk to him. "Oh, so you didn't Huh?" You ask as he scooted himself closer to the wall. You slowly begin to corner him. Sweat started to drip down his forehead, worried for his life. "Hello? Hello? Are you still there?" Perona asked. Zoro nodded his head profusely. "T-That's right! I love your big foreh- I-I mean your beautiful face!" He corrected himself quickly making you even more ticked off. You clench your fists ready to go in for a hit. "ZORO! Y/N-CHAN! HELLO?" Perona asked stopping your little situation. "Perona d-didn't you want to talk to Y/n?" Zoro tried to sneak away but you grabbed him by his shirt.

"Yes!" She answered happily. You let out a sigh and throw him back on his chair. "Go ahead Perona." You say carefully eyeing Zoro. "I'll be meeting you guys at Sabaody Archipelago in a couple days. I'm trusting you with Zoro! So please guide him there!" Perona demanded. You stare over at Zoro and back at the snail. You smile, "That's my job anyway."

"Okay! Bye! See you guys!" Perona hung up right when you stared back at Zoro. He knew he messed up when you started to chase him around the hotel room.

"O-Okay hold on! You used to make fun of me all the time!" He yelled while jumping around room as you chased him. You couldn't help but finding it amusing but also the thought of him talking behind your back to other people made you boil inside.

"At least I said it to your face!" You yell back as we continued to okay cat and mouse. This went on for a good ten minutes before two knocks were heard at the door. "Shit.." You say before stopped and cleaning yourself up. Zoro also stopped and stood next to you as you pulled him closer.

You smacked Zoro as he looked through the little hole to peak at who was on the other side. He turned back at you and sighed. "A maid." He said before opening the door for you. You fake smiled to the worker.

"I-Is everything alright in there? If you guys are going to go rough, please don't be so loud." The maid from before spoke in a very calm manor. The same made that interrupted them before. Your face went red as so did Zoro's.

"N-N-No! It is actually the opposite! Sorry f-for the disturbance.." You bowed as she nodded. She gave a quick nod to Zoro before leaving.

How embarrassing.. ('༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ')

You took a quick glance at Zoro as his ears and cheeks were a taint pink. It was obvious you were both embarrassed by the fact the same made assumed what the two of you were doing...

"...I'll let it slide for now." You got back your composure and walked right past him before he grabbed your waist with his hand.

"You won't forgive me..?" He asked, his eyes darting down at you. You look back up at him, seeming to be quite indecisive.

"Not now.."

He stared at you for a moment, your answer simmering in his thoughts. A smirk appeared to spread across his lips and a rumble of laughter came from him. This change in demeanor almost frightened you.

"Z-Zoro..?" You ask as he slowly came to a stop with his sudden laughing. His eyes began to show a different light, it's as if their was a rise of passion and desire growing within his pupils.

"Maybe I could do something that could change your mind.. Something that'll make your forgive me.." He voice had become low and seductive. You could hear the rumble from the back of his throat. His breath brushed against your cheek as he leaned in.

Suddenly your legs were off the ground..
