Moss Head (Part 1)

At this moment it is 5:00 in the morning. It is still dark and is very calm at sea. You have been traveling on this tiny little boat for about 3 days and still haven't found any island to stop at. You have been starving from not eating before you left. You still haven't even had anything to drink since then either.

You couldn't drink the seas water because of its unpleasant salty-ness. If you had drank some of it, it would probably make you even more thirsty because of the salty taste it has. You are now laying at the bottom of the little boat looking up at the sky to see if anything new would show up. Which something did..

It was a bird flying in the air with a little pouch and a hat. He flew down and landed on your little frail boat which made it shake a bit. You sit up quickly from the presence that has entered your little bubble. "Well hello Mr. Birdie",you spoke with a weak squeaky voice. Your voice did not sound like your regular child voice since you where in need of hydration.

The bird took out a news paper with a separate sheet a paper with it. You were curious to what the bird was about to pull out. He handed you the news paper to which you took quickly and started to read it. You haven't seen paper for ages, it felt like.

After reading a bit of it you put it down on your lap and grab the other paper. This separate sheet of paper was a wanted poster. A wanted poster of you..

Your eyes widen a bit from the picture of you with a smile on your face. You never smiled once in your life. You never felt happiness once..

"This must be a drawing.. They are really good too..",you mumble to yourself. You quickly read out loud your description and how much it was worth finding you. "Mystic Rolly, Real name: Y/n M/n L/n || She has h/l h/c, e/c and of course is female. Wanted dead or alive for 78,000,000 Beri.",you pause looking at how much you where worth. "78,000,000?!? BERI?!?",you exclaim which causes the bird to flinch a bit.

You soon look up at the bird with worried eyes. "Thank you Mr.Birdie.. Would you mind staying with me a bit? Could even maybe show me the way to the closes island?",you ask politely hoping he would accept. He thought about it for a moment then nodded. "THANK YOU MR.BIRDIE!",you exclaim while hugging him.

During your little adventure with Mr.Birdie he showed you the way to the closes island which was Shimotsuki island.

Once you guys made it to the harbor you said your goodbyes with the bird and soon he flew off to go do the rest of his duties. Once the boat was steady you get off quickly and head into town.

The town smelt fresh, it smelt like a familiar smell you have smelt before. Which you really don't remember much of your past. You head many directions into town to keep away from the gatherings of people. You soon made your way up to a building that was called Isshin Dojo. You heard many groans from inside the building and Slapping of something that sounded like wooden sticks.

You became curious so you headed inside, when you made it inside the room you went into was empty. You walked around the room a bit before hearing a door open to the left of you. "Well hello there are you wanting to sign up?",A mans voice asks in a soft tone. You stand there frozen not knowing what to do, you look up at the man. You first saw his glasses, his dark raven hair and a smile plastered on his face.

His eyes soon start to open a bit with some shock growing in them. "Oh my.. You look so hurt.. Are you alright? I can help..",he said moving closer to you which makes you step back from him. "It's alright I can help you.. Let me get my daughter she will help you get all cleaned up with a meal",his smile grew back and he walked out of the room. It left you thinking if you should leave or not until two presence entered the room not long after.

One of which was the man you saw before and the other was a girl and seemed to be close to your age. She had blue silky looking hair and was fairly tall. You looked into her dark eyes and tried to sense what she was feeling in her but failed quickly when the man started to talk. "I would like you to meet Kuina she is a former student of mine and is also my daughter. I am Koushirou the owner of Isshin Dojo",he said in a formal manor. "H-hello.. My name is Y/n L/n..",you said weakly. They both notice your weakness, "Kuina you should hurry and clean her up while I make some food for her",Koushirou said pushing her forward a bit. "Yes father..", she said while walking to you and dragged you into another room.

You quickly were stripped down and thrown into a tub. You were frozen still trying to process such fast movements she was making. She took soap and scrubbed your h/l h/c hair and scalp. You soon relaxed from the warm water that was touching your dry dehydrated skin. She soon was done scrubbing and poured more water on you.

You haven't took a bath in maybe a month since you been out at sea. "Why do you smell? Haven't your parents ever told you to take a bath everyday?",she asked kind of annoyed. "W-well.. I don't have parents..",you mumble softly but loud enough for her to hear. She stays quite and drains out the water. "O-oh.. Sorry..",she soon grabs a towel and throws it at you. "Dry yourself up I'll get you lotion and some clothes",she said as she walks out. "Ok..",you began to dry yourself off and quickly cover yourself up just in case.

You hear the door open to see Kuina again and she gives you, your clothes and lotion. "I'll be outside if you need anything",Once she was done she walked out and closed the door once again. You quickly lotion yourself up and put your clothes on. The feeling of fresh clean clothes felt amazing on your body. You haven't felt like that in years..

You soon walk out to see Kuina again but with a Moss headed boy? "Oh your out, let me show you back to father.",she said ignoring the boy. "HEY DON'T IGNORE ME!",he exclaimed loudly. "I will not fight you today! I have to take care of her!",she screamed back. The boy stares at you intently which makes you sweat drop at the scene but soon you and Kuina both head back to the same room you where in when you first came.

"Y/n welcome back I made you some soup and a bowl of rice",he said putting the food on a small table in the middle of the room. "O-oh thank you sir!",you quickly sit down and start to eat. "You can just call me sensei if you would like",he paused for a bit before continuing to speak. "I was wondering if you would like to join our Dojo group?", Koushirou asked while cleaning up some wooden sticks. "J-join your Dojo group..?",you asked while eating. "Yes! It would be great to have another student!",he said with his now usual smile. "I-I don't really have enough money to pay..",you say getting quieter.

"No worries! When it's time you can do some chores to pay it off, I'll let you live here because I'm assuming you don't have a home?",he asked turning to you. "C-correct..",you mumble. "Your gonna let her stay Father?",Kuina asked. "Yes so you could have someone to hang out with and have as a sister", Koushirou said happily.

After the little dinner you had Kuina showed you to your now room. You were at this moment lying down on your bed thinking about all the things that happened today. It put a smile on your face thinking about it. You haven't smiled for ages it felt like..

Why haven't I smiled like this..?

Kuina suddenly walks into the room. "Your first day will be starting tomorrow make sure your ready",she then walks back out and closes your door.

Wow really tomorrow..? "Thank you Kuina!",you exclaim hoping she heard you. After awhile of sitting in bed you slowly start to fall asleep.

I wonder what will happen tomorrow.. I hope it is something good.. Thank you Koushirou Sensei and Kuina-Chan.. Thank you for everything..
