Swordsman or Samurai (ZoroxSamuraiReader)

THANKSGIVING SPECIAL

You both were on the deck listening to the transponder snail report about the Thanksgiving celebration in other villages and towns. "Oh so it's thanksgiving already? Dang I haven't been paying attention",you sigh while cleaning your swords sitting on the ground. Zoro throws you a clean towel to wipe your swords which you easily grab without looking.

You throw your dirty one in a basket and continue to clean your swords. "Let's head to an island and celebrate",he said smirking while putting away his swords. You also smirk and look up at him, you both look at each other and say. "SAKE",you both say in unison which causes both of you to chuckle. "Here let's see the closes island",you say while standing up and walking to the navigation room.

Zoro follows you in the process. You grab the map out and your compass. "So we are going south but the closes island we have is east, that island is called Ioka-Island",you tell him pointing the east direction. "Sure what ever is closes",He plainly said shrugging. "Okay let's turn the ship around then",you put away the map and compass and head out of the room with the swordsman. You both head out on the deck now shifting the sails to turn. You run up to the wheel and begin to turn it. Zoro takes the sails, while you turn the boat at the wheel. Once you were in the right direction you head back down onto deck and stand next to Zoro.

"So we should be there in about 4 hours",you say putting a hand on your hip. "Alright then I'll sleep for the rest of the time",he said sitting down next to the railing and laying against it. "Mk since your out here ima go into the Navigation room",you say waving while walking into the room.

You were now in the room sitting at your desk deciding if you should mark down more island to visit. Mr.Birdie suddenly lands on your shoulder leaning his head on your head. "Oh your awake Mr.birdie!",you smile to him talking in your regular voice.

You took off your helmet since you trusted Mr.Birdie. "Did you have a good rest?",you ask him while petting him. He nods and messes with your hair. "Hey stop that!",you exclaim while giggling. He squawks in enjoyment and smiles. "You old man",you giggle while putting your helmet to the corner of your desk.

You then get started to work on what islands to visits next.

*4 hours later*

"OI! I SEE THE ISLAND!",Zoro opens the door which causes you to panic since you didn't have your helmet on. You quickly put it on but slow enough for him to see the bottom of you mouth. This causes him to smirk and walk toward your desk. "So does this mean I'm getting better at sneaking up on you?",he asks bending down to your height. You "tch" and stand up with Mr.Birdie on your shoulder. "Let's get ready to doc",you say walking past him.

He chuckles and follows you out onto deck.

*fast forward to making it to the island because I'm lazy lol*

You both docked on the island and got off to explore. "You have your money?",you ask turning to him with Mr.Birdie also turning on your shoulder. "Well.. I actually am broke.. So meaning I don't have any money..",he said sulking a bit. "I'll give you some of my money but you gotta pay me back later",you tell him while grabbing an extra pouch of money. "Where did you get all of this money?",he asks taking his pouch of money.

"I'll tell you when we get on the ship",you sigh and began to walk away from him. "H-hey hold on!",he exclaims walking next to you. "What?",you ask while still walking. "I uh.. I might get lost so could I walk around town with you?",he asks scratching his neck a bit.

"Sure but make sure to stay by my side then",you tell him smirking under your armor. "You haven't changed a bit Moss head..",you mumble walking into a samurai store. "Of course you would walk into a store like this one",he said with a sigh. "Well I do need new armor so I just wanted to stop by to see if they have anything better than mine..",you say while taking a look around the store. Mr.Birdie also looks around with you while you walk with Zoro.

While walking around with Zoro he also looks at some items around the store. You grab some armor for your knees. "Zoro don't some swordsmen wear armor for there knees?",you ask turning to look at him. "Yeah why?",he ask turning to you. "I was wondering if you would like to get some",you said showing him the armor. His eyes widen in shock and he examines them a bit. "Yeah how much are they?",he asks holding them. "Don't worry about it I'll pay",you give him a thumbs up.

"Are you sure?!",he exclaims staring at you with a huge smile. "Yes it's okay! Let's just say it's a gift",you tell him while getting out the amount. "Why would you get me a gift?",he asks giving you a puzzled look. "Maybe because you've been a really good friend and this is just a gift of appreciation",you smile under your armor and pay for his armor.

"Thank you..",he mumbled. "It's also Thanksgiving so I thought a gift would be cool",you tell him walking out of the store which causes him to as well. "Why don't you try them on? I wanna see!",you say a bit excited. "Yeah I should..",he bends down and puts them on. "SUGOI!",you exclaim looking at them.

"They are really comfortable too",he said with a proud smile. You chuckle a bit, "Well yeah they were the most expensive ones in the store" His eye widens in shock and guilt. He runs inside to return them but you quickly drag him out of the store. "Zoro it's okay!",you tell him while dragging him to a bar. "But it's bad! It was expensive!",he exclaims while being dragged by you.

"You are such a silly swordsman",you chuckle and walk into the bar. You sit the swordsman on a chair and order two bottles of sake. The bartender slides your drinks to you both and you both grab them. "Calm down moss head it's Thanksgiving..",you say gulping your sake under your armor. He sighs and begins to chug his sake.

This causes you to smile and you finish up your sake. You sigh in satisfaction and lean back in your chair. "Bartender do you have any Thanksgiving specials today?",you ask the bartender gesturing for another sake. "Yes I actually do, I have a couple turkey dishes and pumpkin pie",the bartender answered back while sliding you another bottle of sake. You catch it and began to drink it. "I'll buy one of each",you say throwing him a couple of beris. "Alright then",he began to cook up your food.

After awhile you finished 34 bottles of sake and Zoro finished about 50 bottles. "Happy Thanksgiving Moss head..".you tell him finishing now your 35th sake bottle. "Ha you too Samurai..",He said drinking his 51st sake bottle. "Btw jay I got you something as well",he said while picking something out of his jacket.

Why is he calling me jay? Oh yeah! That's my made up name duh!

"Really moss head?",you ask smirking once more. "Yep",he takes out a small box. You give a questionable look and take the box from his hands. You slowly open it to see a necklace that has a mini samurai helmet on it. "Oh my gosh this is adorable!",you exclaim examining it. "Heh I thought you would like it",he gave you a smile that was fairly rare. "Aha! Thank you moss head even though it was with my own money..",you tease. "Like I promised I will pay you back",he said sipping his sake bottle.

"By the way all of the sake is on the house tonight",the bartender reminded the both of you.

You and Zoro look at each other in shock on how the whole night is going out perfectly. You both get excited and jump out of your seats. "WOOOHOOOO!!!",you both celebrated yelling throwing your hands up in the air. "BEST THANKSGIVING EVERY!!",you both yell in unison.
