Where They At? (Part 4)

You walk through town, even though it's been 8 years you still remember the way back to Isshin Dojo. You smile to yourself at the thought of finding Kuina and Zoro there. You wanted to surprise your father and everyone so you didn't tell them you where coming today. Til this day you still have a bounty but you didn't care, people stared at you walking down but they all knew you as the girl of Isshin dojo. They all knew you as Kuina's little sister so they didn't bother turning you in because of how long you lived in the town.

You eventually made it to Isshin Dojo, you saw how it upgraded a bit it seems to be repainted and has been added a small shed next to it. The Dojo now looks smaller to you now since you where smaller back then. You quietly sneak in looking for your room to see if it's still there. You finally find the door to your room, but before you could open you felt a hand land on your shoulder. "Y-y/n..?",A familiar mans voice asked behind your back. You turn your head to see your beloved father Koushiro. "P-pops!", you hug him quickly turning around. "Why didn't you warm me you were gonna visit?",he said with a soft smile.

You look up at him with a big smile. "Sorry I wanted it to be a surprise!",you say with a big grin. "So where's Zoro and Kuina?",you ask looking around hoping they would pop up. "W-well.. Y/n.. you see..",Koushiro pauses. "W-what's wrong Pops..W-where they at..?",you ask putting a hand on his cheek.

You saw sadness in his eyes, you've never seen his permanent smile disappear before. "P-pops w-what happened..?",you stutter a bit. He pushes his lips together a bit before continuing his answer. "3 years after you left..",he said looking into your e/c eyes. "Kuina fell down the stairs and had passed away the next day..",he said looking down. One thing you knew is that Pops never liked saying the word die or died. He never once said it in his life..

"W-what..?! T-that can't be true..",you ask stepping back a bit. "I'm sorry Y/n I tried to save her..",he said looking back at you with guilt in his raven eyes. "I-I..",you began to try to hold back tears but soon failed from all the feelings you where getting at this moment.

You felt sadness, guilt and regret.. You didn't know what to think.. This whole time you thought she was alive.. You thought that promise would come true after the 8 years you trained. You worked so hard for this moment but it all crashes down just a year into training.

I should've stayed home.. I should've never agreed to go to the grand line and hide my existence that way.. No this is for Kuina I need to fight for her sake..

"P-pops why didn't you tell me..?",you ask feeling your tears hit the wooden floor. "I'm sorry Y/n.. I didn't want you to worry while you where out traveling.. I really do regret not telling you before you came..",he said gripping onto his jacket. "Pops..",you say hugging him again. "It's okay Pops I forgive you..",you say looking up at him with a sad smile. You guys hug for awhile until something pops up in your head. "Pops where's Zoro..?",you ask not looking into his eyes but instead staying in the hug.

"Oh him..",he chuckles a bit before answering you. "What's so funny?",you ask looking up at him tilting your head a bit. "He told me to give you a message when you came back. Since you are here I must deliver that message",he said with his soft smile returning. You look at him with a confused look trying to understand what he is about to say.

"He said he put a gift in your room before he left to go on his own journey",Koushiro said looking at your rooms door. "A gift..?",you ask opening up your room door. You both see a small box on your bed with a envelope next to it.

"Sugoi!~",you exclaim running to grab the letter. "Let's see..",you say while ripping open the envelope. "The envelope says..",you began to read the letter Zoro wrote to you.

The letter:    Dear Y/n L/n,

           Welcome back to Isshin Dojo, it's been awhile hasn't it. I just wanted to say that I got you a gift, this is a welcome home gift. I do hope you like it. I made sure it was custom made for the each of us to have. Also don't forget the promise we made Baka.. Once we meet each other let's go out to eat, I know you like f/f~ So please come find me quickly I'm loosing my patience with you Y/n.. If I get to my limits I'll search out for you! I really miss you.. There will be a pretty big chance you'll find me in Grandline.. I hope we meet paths again..

You giggle at his letter and put it back down on the bed. You quickly grab the small box and open it to see a set of golden earring(Exactly like Zoro's earring). "This is beautiful..",you say amazed with the shine. You already have holes for earring so you put one into each earlobe. "How does it look pops?",you ask turning to him. "You look beautiful Y/n",he said with his usual smile. "Hehe!", you hug him again.

"I think you should start your journey, sure seems he is desperate for your existence",Koushirou said with a chuckle. "I guess I should huh.. Well I'll come back after I find him.. okay..?",you say looking up at him once again. "Make sure to come back with grandchildren~",Koushiro teased. "H-hey I-I don't even like him Pops!",you pout.

After that it had become dark so you decided to sleep there before heading back out into sea.

It was now morning and you where all packed and ready. You still had the sword Koushiro gave you, it was attached to your hip. "BYE POPS!",you wave while running out to the docs. "BYE!STAY SAFE!",he said waving back. "I WILL!!",you say with a big grin and run off to the docs.

You made it onto the ship and started to sail away into the deep ends of the ocean.

I wonder what adventures I'll face out at sea this time.. I wonder what new people I'll meet out in the grandline.. I've been there once I can go again..

You thought with a smile plastered on your face.

You now sit at the top of the ship looking out into sea hoping to see your enemy Zoro once again.
