It had only been five minutes since the interrogation of Anthony DiNozzo Senior had ended and the team were still watching the older man stew. Once Tony had reentered the observation room, he was immediately hugged by Abby and Kate who were both telling him how proud they were of him. He didn't let them go in fear that the second he did, he'd become unravelled and break down. And he was still a DiNozzo and DiNozzo's didn't break. He heard the door open and the sound of Jenny's heels on the floor but Tony chose to ignore them and kept his eyes on Senior who just sat in the interrogation room, unaware that he had 7 pairs of furious eyes on him, all wanting to kill him.
After he was dragged away from the observation room by Gibbs, Tony walked in a daze to his desk, staring ahead at Kate's desk.
"Tony?" He heard Tim's voice floating in his ear but he ignored him, he ignored all of them until he felt the familiar head slap that came to the back of his from Gibbs.
"What's on your mind, DiNozzo?" Asked his boss, Tony shrugged.
What was on his mind?
"What happens now? What happens now that you've arrested him? What happens when he's found not guilty, because he will be, because he has powerful friends everywhere and there's not one damn piece of evidence to back up his arrest, he made sure that he didn't leave any evidence of my beatings." Tony exclaimed as he got out of his chair and paced the bullpen. He looked out of the window and smirked when he saw the rain pouring from the sky.
"There is evidence of his abuse, Tony, there's your medical history from when you were a kid that speaks for itself, and he assaulted you just before you arrested him, he's going away for a long time, Tony." Jenny said as she came and stood behind him, placing her hand on his shoulder in a motherly fashion. He smiled softly at his family as they surrounded him.
"So what happens now?" Tony asked as he accepted a hug from Kate.
Gibbs looked at his son and smiled.
"Now we go get drunk and become a proper family."
