Land or Water?

Chapter 8: help...

-Sollux's POV-
It's been a week since Eridan and I started to hang out every afternoon when my shift is over at work. Of course, we did this in secret, Eridan told me what kind of things his father did if he or his brother were to disobey him. Today, I was walking to our usual meeting place at the usual time. As I was on my way though, I saw something violet in the water. The violet color though wasn't from the scales on his tail... I ran to the shore and saw Eridan laying there. I ran up to him and held his head in my lap. He was bleeding all over his tail and several more on his arms, chest, back, and a few on his face. He looked up at me, I could see the fear in his eyes. It was obvious he was in pain. "S-sol..." He whispered as he passed out. Fuck! I didn't know what to do! He just passed out, bleeding to death and I can't even bring him someplace where he could get professional medical care! Well if I could somehow bring him to my apartment without being seen, then get cleaned him up, stitch him up (Kankya taught me how in case of emergency), and bandage him up, it might work. The only thing is though... How can I get him to my place without being seen..? I take my jacket off and put it over him then I called Karkat. It ringed a couple of times before he answered, "hey, what do y-" I cut him off wanting to get Eridan help as fast as I could, "kk! I need your help! Eridan'th been hurt and I need to get him to my apartment! Pleathe, will you help me!?" He was silent. "KK PLEATHE!" He finally answered, "ok, ok calm the fuck down. I'll help you. I'm on my now!" He hung up. I put my phone away and held Eridan close. Then it didn't take long for Karkat to get here, "what the hell happened to him!?" He yelled. "I don't know, but we need to help him... Fatht.." Karkat helped me get Eridan into his car. While Karkat drove to my apartment, I sat in the back with Eridan. We soon got there and luckily, no one was there at the moment, so we were quick and got him to my place. We got him into the bathtub and was able to patch him up pretty nicely. I stayed in the bathroom, waiting for him to wake up. Karkat was outside, sitting on the bed. He made good friends with Eridan, so it was obvious he was scared for him too. Well we can't do anything now, but wait. I hope he's okay.
