Cortez's POV:

He put his head back on my chest as I rubbed his back again. We laid there and said nothing. But nothing needed to be said at all. This was great, maybe even perfect. I'm going to use all of my body and all of my strength to love and protect him. Even with me being a werewolf, I don't care. I'll still love him.

I'll do anything and everything for him, to no limits.

[ OCTOBER 24TH - SEVEN DAYS ]

"I don't think you understand how much I want to claim him. He's unknowingly teasing me with that bare body of his." Bravian growled to me as I rubbed Wesley's back. I just slightly laughed and shook it off. I don't need to be worried about reprimanding him right now, I got everything I've wanted in my life: my mate, and his love.

Honestly, I didn't plan for things to happen this way. We wanted to first tell him that I was a werewolf. That was the main talk we wanted to talk to our handsome little mate about first, but when we saw his face strewn with fright and fear, we couldn't help ourselves. "It took everything in me to not mark him right there." I rolled my eyes at the wolf's remarks, but smirked. It took everything in me as well. But for now, our mate is just resting. A well deserved rest at most. I could feel Bravian's admiration as he saw Wesley's smaller figure rise and lower, "Look at our mate. He doesn't know how much better his life is about to get." I nodded in agreement to that statement.

The whole pack is going to have to know about the news. Most of the wolves in the pack that are in the university can be told to leave him alone, so that should make Wesley's life a little more easier. It's more about keeping Nixus Moon wolves in check and as distant from Wesley as possible. Including those three fucks that like to torture him.

Bravian growled at the mention of those three.

Of course, soon I'll tell Wesley that I'm a werewolf, but I want to ease him into it rather than straight up telling him. I want to make sure that he'd be okay with this supernaturalism that he's going to get brought into. Even if he doesn't, I'll still love him for the rest of my lifetime. But, the selfish side of me wants him to be with me forever. Actually, I desire him and want him to be with me forever.

"We could make that desire happen, you know. His neck is bare and defenseless right now." "There will be none of that unless he's conscious. You already know the rules, Bravian." "It was a nice thought at least." I shook my head.

Though, I can't deny that the thought didn't cross my mind when he was awake. There was a lot of factors that made a lot of thoughts cross my mind.

He's just perfect. That is what it is.

Ah, speaking of our perfect little mate; it seems like he's starting to stir in his sleep. It is almost seven in the morning, so he'd be waking up by this time anyway. It'd also be the time where he'd be getting ready for his classes, but his injury won't help him at all with moving around.

Speaking of that injury, thanks to some 'help' from a certain wolf named Bravian, his wound should heal faster than normal. "It is quite useful that our saliva help wounds heal faster. Also, I didn't mind tasting a little bit of him if you wanted to know." "Yeah, hope you enjoyed it, because that is the one and only time you're ever gonna taste his blood." "Not if I can help it..~" I shook my head once again and focused my attention to my mate still stirring in his sleep.
